This is my first time renting a car from them, i call them and they ask some qus on the phone like what's my age and driving exp,i was shock when they ask me for a $100 up front payment..But i was happy to say the guy explain it early and said for weekend they collect a $100 up front payment..I rented a car from the khatib branch, very convenient when i reach the shop i was brief on the insurance clearly and i want to thank the malay staff name (Roy) for checking the car and he even check all the engine oil and show me where's the damage of the car unlike some car rental..Very good and friendly staff..I would to thanks he and he's supervisor(Mr Lee) great car and really enjoy my days renting car..I will come again to rent and i will recommend u guys to try

Car rent from khatib branch, the shop was beside a money lender which claimed to be legal registered. First time, looks a bit worrying. The environment around looks a bit uneasy.
Eventually call to check out the prices, the person who answered sounded hostile but yet polite. When approaching the counter, there are a few hunk, looked a bit ah beng but they seem friendly, and talked politely too.
I rented a car from them to travel in malaysia over the weekend.
20 dollars per day, was charged to drive in malaysia. The total price is considered quite ok.
Due to driving in malaysia, there was only a few car range which i can choose from. The car allocated to me, had small scratches, internal car condition looks functional well even looks a bit worrying.
Deposit payment, car collection, car returning has to be done before 6pm which is a bit of a rush for some people. However, you can try to negotiate on the time with them.
By the time of car returning, no extra procedure if no heavy scratches and etc.

They offer the most competitive prices. The salseperson noted all the scratches that were there on the car before, which was helpful.
Return was also hassle free.
Only, find out the mileage and the condition of the car before going to the place. Mine was pretty old a car (146,000 KMs on the odo). After 2 weeks the car interiors started feeling very stuffy despite the fact that I kept it very clean and all. But didn't complain as otherwise all was well.

Their staff took the time to check through the car with me. As they know that I will be driving the car to Malaysia, they check the engine oil , coolant , tires and brakes with me. Give me a peace of mind while travelling on the NS Highway. Thanks guys for the safe journey.

Chose to rent a car from them after reading thru the good reviews on Sgcarmart. Found out that they are the Star Merchant for the past consecutive years. Renting a car from them is easy, just call and book and collect on the actual day. No deposit required.

Made a booking thru phone and went down to collect the car at their Aljunied office. Everything was pretty straightforward and car was in good shape. Definitely will go back to them again.

Rented a car from their Aljunied office. Location is very good as it is just opposite the Aljunied MRT station. Pricing is very competitive. Would rent a car from them again in future.

Heard so much about this car company and decided to give it a try. Rented a car from its sub branch at Bukit Batok, service was great but car came with lots of sketches and dents. Marked down serveral spots with the sales person before heading off. But when car was returned, we were accused of a small dent. Which we were not aware of at all. Sales person asked for a penalty charge of $170 which include a day's rental of $70 and $100 for repairing the small dent. We then negotiated the amount as we don't feel reasonably charged. Just a reminder to all who intend to rent car with them - read their penalty charges before signing off the agreement, and make sure you take pictures of the car right infront of the person when going through the check before heading off especially if the car is in bad shape.

I have rent my first car from them and i feel their services is good. The guy name jack is helpful and done his job well as u will feel assured. Will recommend my friends to rent from them. Bravo to Express car .

I am a P-plater, rented a toyota altis from express car rental for 3 days on a weekend.just needed to give them a call about 1 week in advance about the weekend rental and they gave me a call on thurs evening to arrange pick up on a friday evening 6pm.car was in reasonably good condition, though handbrake seemed a bit loose, which, understandably, comes with frequent usage.a big plus was the convenient location: short walking distance from aljunied mrt station.easy-going & friendly staff. a good experience overall, will rent from express car rental again :)
