WARNING : Patronize at your own risk  Posted on 07-Mar-2023
I seldom wrote reviews but this shop need attention after visiting for the first time. Just enquire for their sound system for my new ride.. Damn.. The boss or manager used hard sell tactics.. After much persuasive discussion i gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking gave the shop a chance, maybe can patronize more often..I gave in and do the whole system setup abt $1k.. left 1hr for lunch and came back and listen to my new system.. Gosh my old one sounds better.. The worker try fiddling with all the settings.. Same low quality sound.. Meantime i ask for other accessories he ordered his worker to fix what im asking like horn and rear camera.. I told him to hold on and fix my sound system first.. he argued that the new speakers need to bed in or run in for a day or two.. What a joke.. Im lost for words thinking ive been to the wrong shop.. I quickly paid up and left.. Next day went to a proper audio shop in Ubi and the worker check the wiring and polarity of speakers were all mess up and done unprofessionally.. The rca cable of low quality which cause interference which im aware after installing.. He ask me where ive purchased and install.. Im not telling.. Then he pointed out the sticker FarEastAuto at my rear windscreen.. i laughed coz i didn't realized the shop logo was pasted yesterday out of my permission for free publicity.. i immediately ask him to peel off the sticker and redo my wiring.. afterwards all sounds much better..

I drove to the shop to fix some issues with my car speakers. After about half an hour of testing, and dismantling the car doors (I did not watch the whole process), the main audio unit stopped working, even though it never had any problem before that.

The shop insists they did not do anything, and it suddenly spoilt by itself (which is extremely coincidental since it was still working when we started testing it).

I tried to be reasonable and come to some compromise with the shop, and suggested paying cost, or at a discount for a new audio unit to replace the one that mysteriously spoilt suddenly.

The shop owner refused to give ANY compensation at all, and in fact insisted he does not want to have anything to do with the car anymore, and told me to go away.

I bought my rear speakers, amp, passive sub woofer from them. Boss claimed that it was all "Display set".. Price was slightly cheaper than brand new. So i was ok fixed it up. Also promoted their overpriced aircon svc which i did not find any diff.

Only till on the receipt, they indicate that these products have only 3 months warranty. I start to F the boss but too late, fixed and paid. I went back few times to rectify some problems which they could not fix up. I gave up and went to other shops.

After 3 months, my passive sub woofer spoilt. I saw my used rear speaker i traded in for peanuts which they put it on their display shelf to sell to next customer.

I will never go in to the shop again...

Very reliable workmanship, having my audio system installed by them. Reasonable price, would recommend going there to get your car done up.

Dear all, I just went to the shop last week to buy a new head unit, replaced my car alarm system as well as to buy a chrome pod for my existing tweeter. The installer were good and detailed. However, I found that they are not so good in tuning the system. I had to go back again to have it tuned but the outcome is not to my expectation. They told me that my cables are not in good condition and need to be replaced. I have checked with my friends and they told me that usually cables are very lasting and need not replace. I'm not sure. Can anyone advise me? Regards Kevin

Fareast Auto had been in the market for many years. My 3 cars sound system was done by them. His workmanship is good and not too expensive.
