Great Customer Service  Posted on 28-Dec-2018

My Audi A5 recently had a problem with the engine pressure oil pump and I sent my car in to Premium Automobiles to have it repaired. Upon checking the car, I was informed that besides this problem, there was a bolt head which had became loose and had somehow found its way into the engine compartment and severely damaged it.

Although I was unable to comprehend fully why it happened and not accepting this to happen to a brand like Audi, the Customer Service Manager and Service Advisor shared with me objectively the outcome of the investigation and patiently explained to me the source of the problem for my Audi A5. After much consideration, I agreed to the quoted cost for a replacement of the engine.

During the entire process of the repair/replacement, I was kept well informed of the work conducted on my car. The company later informed me that they had managed to aligned with their principal;Audi; To not charge me for the cost of the engine replacement as a goodwill gesture. I am grateful to their consideration that this is not the fault of their customer.

And throughout this process, both the Customer Service Manager and Service Advisor has shown high degree of professionalism in dealing with me and treated me with respect and emphathy.

I want to thank them both and congratulate Premium Automobiles for having such great employees who value customer satisfaction. Needless to say, my next car will still be an Audi. They have managed to retain me as a loyal customer.

The Premium Auto workshop is too overloaded. They sell so many cars but don't invest in expanding the workshop. I've owned Audis since 2005, and the situation just gets worse each year. My last service there a few weeks ago was such a rushed job. I had 3 screws in my rear tyres! Had to get them patched. These are Michelin PSP's and cost me a fortune. What a heart break to see the screws piercing the tyres.

Sad that Audi spends money on frills like fancy events, but can't get basic workshop services up to scratch.

I have had this issue with my car and when I sent it for repair, they quoted me a 4,000 SGD repair bill. The problem just arose some day out of the blue. The problem is as follows : -Power Steering seems to be off (steering wheel is very stiff) -Check engine light is on -Speedometer registers 0km/h even while on the move. Research online shows that there was someone who experienced the EXACT same situation as me, and his workshop told him that he has to replace 2 parts together, aka you can't replace just 1 of the 2 (1 slightly ok, and the other very expensive). Similarly, the Audi technicians also told me the same thing that I have to replace BOTH pieces. Mega thumbs down for such blood suckers.

This is the worst car dealer I have ever encountered. (1) A simple servicing requires 2 WEEKS of advance booking!!! (2) A repair request under warranty requires more than 2 weeks of waiting time!!! Just pray hard that my car will not explode or cause any accident while waiting for their appointment! Yes, I will also need to make sure that my warranty will not expire in 2 weeks' time!!! I will rate a zero star.

I just finished my servicing. Not satified with the services they provided. There was no explanation of the work done. All they provided is a piece of paper printed from PC, in a standard format. Poor follow up services where I have to constantly called to check on the schedule date for my chip up. The entire programming was delayed. It will not be a good merchant shop to go to, if not because of the warranty. With this type of service attitude, customers will eventually leave after warranty is over.
