Recently rented a Toyota Altis 1.6cc for $420 a week. Pros - Very reasonably priced compared to other featured merchants on SGCARMART. There was no hidden charges for e.g. GST . Convenient on - the - phone booking , short and sweet breakdown of the total cost payable upfront (Paid additional $40 for 2 days usage in Msia) . Rental procedure was quick and easy. Friendly service overall. The Toyota Altis 1.6cc that I have rented was well- maintained , cleaned and did not give me any problem throughout the rental period. Cons - A bit too far for me as I live in the east. Still accessible as the bus stop is right in front of their building. Took a while to locate their unit though. Car is not so brand new and comes with minor scratches on bumper (Was noted down on the agreement ). To be fair, I would not expect my rental car to be totally scratch- free as I am not buying a car. Thumbs Up for the overall pleasant rental experience provided. I travel frequently for overseas assignments and always rent cars when I'm in town. Have tried most of the rental companies in Singapore and this is so far one of the better ones in terms of pricing and quality. Will definitely rent again. Cheers Management Response

Pleasant collection of vehicle but extremely disappointed on returning

I thought I had found a good car rental company near my home and at good rates but this was not true on returning the Nissan Presage that we rented on 6/2/2012 to 8/2/2012. I had such a disgusting experience with an agressive and bad attitude person in this company that I immediately upon reaching home, turned on my computer to do some research and true enough there were 2 complains on hefty payments for minor scratches last year. What about the possibility of many others who did not complain as you need to be a member to be able to write in. On returning, I was told that the scratches on the right bumper was not recorded and so I had to pay for the cost to paint over. I asked for the amount and was told that it was $60. I then tolf the person that I will pay the $60 but he said that it was not enough as I will have to also pay the rental rates for as estimated half day to paint through the scratches. Other cost I had to also pay was for the time his worker took to drive the vehicle and take into consideration the road tax etc. Though I have over 3 decades of daily driving experience and I sincerely cannot recall any incident which caused those scrathces, I gave him the benefit of doubt by agreeing that I caused the scratches and am therefore willing to pay for the cost of painting. However, the company really attempted to take advantage of the situation for a quick buck! If the company has a policy of keeping their vehicles in pristine and fautless condition and thus sending cars with damaged body immediatly for repairs, then why are there so many previous scratches on the Presage? I wonder if the complains for the two parties above checked if the cars were really repaired? To make things worst, the person was at times agressive speaking very loudly and I took some of his statements as threats with hand gestures. As I sensed the situation could turn voilent, I asked to see his manager but he said that I can only talk to him and that his manager is not around. As I had no documents with me, I asked for a copy of the form that I signed and he refuesed. I kept telling him that I will pay the sixty dollars and again he was loud and insisted that I pay $125 including the rental duration for the car to be painted. He then loudly told me to pay $125 or nothing at all. After a few minutes, he changed his position and told me to pay the $60 if I wanted the copy of the rental formed signed by me. I paid him and signed a few moore documents. I am really surprised that such bad companies still exist in developed Singapore. Imagine what our tourist will think of Singapore. What a disappointment! Went with high expectations, left very disappointed

I initially rented a Mazda 3, booking it around 3 weeks before the actual day. Around 3 days before the actual date, Amanda called me and told me that the Mazda 3 met with an accident unfortunately. Nevertheless,I was impress when she managed to help me find a Fiat Punto as a replacement few hours after she call me. However on the day of collection, I went there with high expectations. I checked around the Fiat Punto for scratches and the service staff was honest to tell me that the left passenger door could not be open properly. The staff that was attending to me was not very familiar with the vehicle, as he was unable to answer some technical questions on the functionality of the car. Throughout the rental period, several problems crop up. I notice that on the side of passenger windows were paper jammed to keep the windows in place. As a result, there is a small gap and windows could not be roll up or down. When it was raining heavily, rainwater actually manage to get into the car through the gaps naturally. The brakes of the car was not well maintained. When braking, a screeching sound and vibration could be felt. Lastly, gearstick could not be switch to auto mode on the 2nd day of driving. Called Amanda, and problem was solved with the support of some technicians. (Kudos to these guys who work on a Sunday). When returning the car, I had to pay ~$180 for a small scratch on the boot of car. Although it is a small price, it was quite alarming that a small scratch requires an immediate repair at the workshop, while issues such as passenger door, window and brakes were not properly maintained at the workshop. I left with utter disappointment as I was expecting something more from a recommended merchant from SgCarMart. Better maintenance of cars, staff who knows the car better. The only saving grace is Amanda's capability on finding a replacement, and the technicians' help. Management Response

Rented a MPV for a reasonable rate but vehicle smells of stale cig. Please check for all scratch and nits on the vehicle before moving off or you will bear the cost of paint job and time like me.....$220 for small abrasion on front right bumper, haiz. Management Response

Been there recently. Car was clean and odour-free. Process of renting was prompt. However, some of their cars have many dents and scratches and if not careful you may miss them out during the marking process. Upon returning you may risk paying for some dent or scratches that was there in the first place. Management Response

Rented Sonata and Axio from Eazi. Amanda was friendly, the car was clean and good service with affordable rates. Hope Eazi can look in the tyres issue as it seems bald for Axio which i rent from them. Will defintely go back there to fulfil my driving desire as and when needed, thumb up for them. Rented Fiat Punto Skydome, Stream Style and Stream RSZ with them on a few occasion. The best Punto i ever driven from a rental company. However this is a popular car among its customers, therefore must book in advance. Looking forward to rent from them again. Management Response

Been renting from them many years now when the company was 1st located at Bendemeer Road. Friendly Staff and my gratitude to Amanda for being very honest and responsible whenever I encounter any problems with the car that I rent. All cars was in good condition and my favorite was the Fiat Stilo and Toyota Fortuner that I rented back in year 2007. Recently been renting with them again for couple of months due to waiting delivering of my new car and I manage to rent a Honda Fit(2008), Airwave and Odyssey. Its been a great pleasure renting from EAZi Car Lease Pte Ltd. I rented a Hyndai Trajet(Maroon) from EAZi Car Lease Pte Ltd a few days ago and very satisfied. Everything is in working condition, even the in car entertainment! - Tires are in very healthy condition. - Vehicle is in full working order. - Very good customer service. - No deposit needed for P-plate drivers. - Able to provide car assistance during car rental. i.e to say, car mechanism etc... Its just a pity that they do not have enough cars for rent :( But, Amanda has provided a great help! Looking forward to the Chinese New Year Promo soon! I have just pass my class 3 barely 3 weeks ago, and I rented a car (Hyundai Verna manual) from 9th till 13th Nov from the merchant. The service was superb and fast. Thanks to Amanda and her colleagues, I manage to drive confidently and the car condition was great, except for some minor exterior scratches. My family enjoyed the car and its a great driving experience. I have passed the contacts to many of my friends to try their shop for rental service. And the best thing was its more than affordable. Thanks Amanda and your colleagues. I will surely patron your shop again soon. Management Response

Recommended rental place in my own opinion. Affordable prices. I would say value for money. I rented a Fiat bravo tjet last week. Nice drive and really powerful car. Car was a bit dirty when the previous hirer return but the staff there did wash it thoroughly before passing to me. Service was definetly much better than the other places that I went to. Would definetly come back for more next time. Management Response
