Visited to fix my car alignment. Simple painless process. Arrive at shop, just park and handover car keys to the staff and let them do the necessary while I take a break at the simple rest area and look on as they do the work. Sent in my car today for alignment as I'd visited them many times and finds their workmanship not bad. However today's incident changed my perception of their business integrity completely.
After my alignment was completed, the technician took my car out for a test drive, which they always did... But today it was exceptionally long and i was wondering what is happening to my car. After about 10 mins, the technician returned with a passenger in my rear seat! I asked him what he took to long they he said it was just a usual test drive... I was skeptical and checked on my dashcam footage, and indeed, the technical took my car out to perform errand, picking up passenger without informing me!
If they can openly take customer's out to perform their personal errands while customer is waiting in the shop, I cannot imagine those customer leaving their cars with them! Very dishonest business practice! Will avoid this shop in future!
Female shop assistant called me back and argued it is a normal practice for them to use customer's car to fetch their staff and insist there is nothing wrong with such practice and hang up my call after that.
