1. Beware of their facebook reviews as its doctored, edited and censored.

2. Be careful if you doing your 1,000km servicing here.

3. They literally vandalised the entire car, engine bay, undercarriage and every bolt and nut with red paint. Extreme eyesore.

4. They won't allow you to use your own oil and parts even if you have paid the full service price with the crap engine oil in the package

5. This workshop does not follow the manufacturer's recommended oil viscosity.

Dont waste ur time  Posted on 23-Jul-2018

I saw good reviews on this workshop but dont waste your time. First of all, their communication damn bad. Secondly, dont ever ever EVER repair your vehicle here. They like to blackmail you.

Quoted me 3k worth of repairs but when i question their mechanic, he cannot explain why. Thirdly, 1 of their mechanic damn rude. Speak to customer like as tho want to fight like that. To put it short, he doesnt even have basic customer service etiquette. Thirdly, the most important one which i hated most about this workshop, is that i was told to replace an air con compressor and i paid for a brand new one, but what they didnt tell me( which i found out later) is that they gave me a RECONDITIONED compressor instead( had to find out from another workshop)

LASTLY, once they "Repair" Something for you, they will charge you for something else and then guarantee you that if you do this repair, it will "Confirm" Be fixed. But at the end of the day, they still gonna charge you la. No diff.

So dont waste ur money and time. (because you wont know what they do to your car)

the only good thing is that they have a waiting point for customers under air conditioned room? Lol

Changed brake pads recently. Apart from doing a good job changing the brakes, rims were wiped and cleaned.

Very good experience at JKS Motor Work
Saw their SG 50 promotion and gave it a try.
Mechanics are very professional and experienced.
Location is easy to find and price is good.
Overall experience is good with a 2nd level resting area for people to rest and wait.

Total disappointment with the way this WS handle enquiries.

Called today to enquire labour cost for replacing cv joint. Was informed by the admin girl the cost, so drove down to replace.

Upon arrival, the in-charge/boss Ken repeated told me they don't do this job due to blah blah blah. I questioned him back then how come you did not clarify on the phone so I don't have to make a wasted trip down. He replied that he thought I was referring to the 'cd joint' (btw is there such a thing really?!), & That his admin girl doesn't know much about cars etc.

Despite my repeated attempts to inform him my unhappiness is due to their poor communications to me, he kept insisting (& rather aggressively) that they do not want to replace my cv joint. Totally unapologetic.

Yes I totally get that! I'm fine with whatever reasons you told me for not wanting to do my business.

But you still don't get my point - you could have just clarify with me on the phone instead of getting your admin girl to talk to me right? (since you yourself said she doesn't know much about car parts)

Or am I in the wrong for not requesting to talk to you instead when I was enquiring earlier through the phone? (cos that's the EXACT feeling I got from your attitude - totally unapologetic, again)

Good riddance.

Was introduced to JKS by a friend for the Aircon refreshment. Decided to go for their Mobil 1 servicing promotion as well. When i was there, they checked my vehicle and Ken told me that engine oil was leaking and showed me the leakage. I told him that my vehicle had 2 years left and didn't want to spend too much on repairs. Ken then told me they will use back what can be used and also, this is the first workshop which actually bothered to take pictures of what they had done and whatsapp me the pictures. They also bothered to call and update me on the repair process. Jason also sent me to the nearest bus stop because i had to leave the car in the workshop. I am impressed with their service and am planning to continue my regular servicing with them. Kudos to Ken, Jason and their team: Black Kia Cerato

Highly recommend this workshop!

My car broke down and I called them for help. Instead of sending a tow truck directly, Jason & Ken drove down to my place personally and did their diagnosis on the spot. They even brought a spare battery just in case it's a flat battery problem.

Realizing that the problem cannot be resolved on the spot, they arranged a tow truck to tow my ride back. They supervised the tow process personally and took great care for my car.
Ken is very experienced and is very prompt. He managed to repair my car and I collected my car on the very same day.

One thing I like most is Ken will call & give quotation and advice me accordingly if I should carry on with the repair BEFORE he carries on with the repair (Unlike other workshops which I had bad experience with)
Personally I find the charges reasonable.

Thumbs Up for a good workshop!
