It's like a cheap Lotus! `
Bought it years ago and sold it a few months ago. Its a very reliable car. It gave me no problem at all! The air conditioning is the best! Turn the knob to first click, there it goes. Immediate cool air. The air also smell nice. You don't even a need a perfume. I heard it uses DENSO's aircon parts, but i'm not sure. Exterior styling is very nice especially when you know how to mod it. A big spoiler with big front bumper will give the car a fierce looks and even a better stability at high speeds. Interior wise is also good. 2 front "Bucket style" Seats. And normal seats at the back. All leather. Plastic dash materials destroy everything. But, the dash design does not even block passengers/drivers leg from resting. Some dash just bulge out but not this. Boot space the biggest i've seen. It's big for a hatchback! It's deep and big! Throw some pails, hose and organizers and there is still space to put your grocery shopping. Fuel? I rather not say! Within just 1 day, the arrow from "F" Can go to "1/2". It's very surprising how the thing consume such a big amount of oil. I just can't take it! Handling is the best. Together with the LOTUS handling and rear-wheel drive, it's the best car! Don't worry to put your feet down at the throttle at tight corners as the steering go where you want it to go.

Bring in the facelift Gen2 with IAFM and CPS! `
Heard that Proton SG will bring in the facelift version with either IAFM and CPS engine later this year, Wonder how true it is. My colleague looking for a sport hatch with spare part reliability and cheap so i recommend him The Satria Neo over this. Looks outdated, Malaysia and UK already have the facelift version with either IAFM or CPS units. Singapore Proton is really slacking. Unless they clear the old stock with 5k reduction then peoples with budget will consider.

New Gen2 with IAFM system `
When i first test drive the new 08 Gen2 with Integrated Air Fuek Module models it's much smoother than the first version Campro engine although its share the same horsepower and torque with the former ones. There's much improvement on low and mid range speed where the former suffer torque dip on low rpm speed. Reaching high speed breathe much better and the FC is prompt too. I just hope that Proton SG will bring in the new Gen2 & Waja CPS which boast 125hp and 150nm of torque which is much better. Those intend to buy the Gen2 should look into the 08 models.
