Good Power `
I agree with Markxforme in his review. I drive this car about 1 year and stil enjoy it. Its a very good car, Very Good Powerand handiling, if You compare it to Camry, Mazda 6 etc. Obviously You cant compare it to Sports Cars. But if You want a Family Car with Sports CarLooks, Power and Handling, this is the Car to get. I have changed my Tyres to Pirelli CINTURATO P7 and the Car feels like a Jaguar. :) Very Comfortable, Still very good handling even at 190km/h on straight road.

Better than a Camry or Teana `
I've been driving this car for 2 years now and I love it still. This car is still a head turner. I know a lot of people have said that this car's handling is poor but that's a very skewed assessment. It depends on who is making that statement and from which viewpoint. If you were to compare this car with a Teana or Camry or Mazda 6, the Mark X will just eat the competitors out without a doubt. The engine is excellent - even better than an IS 250! The instability part comes in with the understanding of this car as a rear-wheel drive. It's not enough to just know this, you need to understand the effects. Even without modification, I dare say that the handling of this car is better than those I compared it with. The reason why the insurance premiums is so high for this car is because there are some drivers of this car who drive it like a street sports car, without the necessary modifications. Like I said before, the engine is powerful. So, it is easy to mishandle the car when other parts of it cannot match up to the power produced by the car. If you're going on a straight highway at 190kmh, no problems on a stock car. If you're cornering at 100kmh on a stock car, you will skid and crash! And when this happens, people say this car's handling is bad. I mean, c'mon, how many drivers even think of cornering their Camrys or Teanas at 100kmh?? So, to be fair, if you really compare apple to apple, this is a great car!

Taken a step back from the previous Mark X GRX120 `
Mark X has a higher insurance premium than other cars in the same category. This is because the handling for this car is really poor and has a higher chance of accident. This issue has been discussed in the ModCarClub.com Mark X forum. http://modcarclub.com/index.php?topic=146.0 Even though it has the same engine as the previous version, it has less hp. This is due to Japan emission control. Even with the less hp, the engine power is still great. For comfort, it is better to get the Camry.

A Special Family Saloon `
Review based on MarkX GRX120 GF Package. Having driven this car for almost 1 year and this car has not been giving any problem. I was initially attracted to the engine spec and FR layout of the car. After driving it for the first time, the car did not disappoint me. Smooth 2.5L V6 engine offers plenty of low end torque for city driving, but more impressively is the top end power for speed above expressway speed, pulling all the way to speed cut limit. Ride comfort is usual Toyota affair with good ride comfort but not too soft to cause nausea to passengers. Sound insulation is average with some visible tyre noise at high speed. Rear wheel drive allows driver to push hard on acclerator for fast corner exit. Compared to my family's previous Accord CL7, Accord steering offers more road feedback and predictable handling. However Markx is a more comfortable cruiser on long journey for both driver and passengers.
