Have the previous generation 1.5L (for 3 years now) and its a lovely car that will keep to the end. Some may not like the exterior design but this is one solid car, easy to drive around and completely maintenance free besides the regular servicing etc. Its a good buy.
What I like
Futuristic looking
Extremely fuel efficient
Not a speedster but enough power when you need it
What I do not like
leather seat option from toyota ( of course this can be done after market)
Not much after market accessories

It is an incredible car which make a lot of current cars look outdated. My sister is ordering one. The waiting list varies so she and her family will now have to wait a while.
What I like
Driving impressions and Comfort are like European cars! Feel so lovely to be inside and so user friendly. This Prius version is much improved over the 2008 version.
What I do not like
Color choices are limited. Styling design could be more towards French or Italian types but I am just guessing that it may affect it's aerodynamic efficiency.

Review
I spent time considering cars like Nissan Teana, Hyundai Sonata, Honda Accord and second hand 5-6 years old (2005-2006) BMW E60 and Mercedes W211. What a surprise. We found the Toyota Prius to be the most practical car overall and it's brand new with excellent warranty - peace of mind!
What I like
It look conservative and does not attract attention. The driving is very good and no nonsense. Parts are much cheaper than BMW or Mercedes despite what some rumours in the market suggest. It has the same cabin space as the current Honda CRV or current Camry and is actually roomier than the costlier W211 Mercedes E class! A 6ft person can sit in front and another at the back without any problem!! The ride is comfortable and decently quiet. Most of all, it will make you smile at the petrol kiosk as your trips will be lesser than ever before!
What I do not like
The doors do not close like an expensive car should! But I was told it is because the door panels are made from ecological materials. For the money, I really find it hard to criticize because I feel the thrills of showing off with a much bigger engine is wearing thin for me. I am currently using it to fetch the kids to and fro without any problems and the ride has been nothing but lovely!
