Love being stared at? With its quirky design and bulky build, the Nissan Juke catches more than enough attention that can place you right smack in the centre of attention.

Got the delivery of 1.6 CVT last week. Went with the so obvious colour "Pearl White" (there is a big fight between this white and red all over the world though). Selected this over Turbo version, only to save about 30K in this high COE season. If you have budget, the turbo version is worth buying. Even though I should not mention the name of the SE and dealer, I should say that my SE was one of the best I have ever come across in Singapore.

What I like
1. Looks totally different (wanted a car different from regualar boxy units)
2. Wanted an SUV type in A category (you have very limited options in this)
3. Engine is very smooth and pick up is one of the best in its class
4. You feel better driving control and vision from driver's seat.
5. Fuel economy with 6 CVT (and gear shift is very smooth once you get used to CVT driving)
6. Audio system is good (JVC big touch screen)
7. Smart entry and push button start (no key is required for boot also)
8. Seat can be adjusted vertically also (manual though).
9. Air-con is very powerful.
10. Built-in reverse camera

What I do not like
1. No steering wheel control
2. No Auto AC control
3. Limited Space (even boot is smaller)
4. Exterior (it is either totally like or dislike type). But I should say that most of the people look at the car - it draws enough attention.
5. Storage area is less inside the cabin

Worth a test drive at the very very least. The engine is really perky and powerful at the set go with the Sport setting. Avoid ECO at all cost :)

The car is very compact and may seem to be on par size wise with the Jazz/Fit. Maybe even smaller?! The driving position is nicely higher than saloons and the feel is confident. Rough and Tough stance. However, can be a bit bumpy over humps and such. Not meant to be labelled refined for sure, it suits a certain group of people - younger, single or married no kids, and seeking a refreshing and yet strangely attractive design. It does grow on you, and choice of colour is important. The shade of Red available in Singapore does not really excite and Pearl White seems to be best of the lot, echoed by owners in UK especially.

Go ahead, take a chance...you may find the overall package irresistable.

What I like
Design and new engine

What I do not like
Space and ride harshness
