I bought a 2nd hand Evoque 5Dr Dynamic model from Wearnes earlier this year. Best decision ever! I have driven plenty of car before, and always wanted to switch to an SUV, and nothing come close to the Evoque in terms of looks, style and drive.

I absolutely love the FULL GLASS PANAROMIC MOONROOF. Everyone that sat in my car loved it. The car is spacious enough for all to feel comfortable. I like the high driving position and have all the bells and whistles one needs. The boot size can be bigger, but the flat load bay means i can put things easily and even change my baby's diapers

The drive is good, fuel consumption not the best. But i have no complains. The only thing i dislike is the center console, looks abit dated.

Just buy this car!!! But go for the Dynamic model with MoonROOF!

Bought the Evoque from Wearnes after CNY. They were clearing their 2016 stock at attractive prices. Comes with zero maintenance cost for first 3 years plus another 2 additional years of free servicing.

What I like
The look of the car and interior finishing. Everything about the Evoque feels premium. Great road handling and responsive engine. The 9 speed gear box is great, very smooth. Size of the car is just right not too big and easy to handle and park. Rear seats can accommodate 3 adults comfortably.

What I do not like
Features in the car a little lacking. There is no lane departure, no blind spot warning, no GPS which are now quite standard for cars in this category. These are available only in the Dynamic model but will cost a lot more. Claimed fuel consumption figures are also totally off. Is not possible to do 12.8km/l. The actual consumption under Singapore driving condition with a mixture of highway and city driving is around 7.3 km/l.

I change to this car from a smaller car. The first feeling of driving this car is the wide view to your eyes. It is quite big to me. I feel quite spacious inside the vehicle, especially the front seats. Change of gear is very smooth, you can hardly feel it. you can feel the power when you drive it. you feel like you are inside a big "thing", though the actual size is not that big. Eco mode help you to save your petrol, if you want to have a stronger power, just off it.

What I like
Ambient features in the car
outstanding exterior
great handling
spacious front seats

What I do not like
the storage is not so ideal
you need time to get used to wide cars when switch from a smaller one.

It was my first time driving a Landrover and it totally changed my perception of the brand, for the better of course. Its futuristic and commanding presence makes it a looker no matter which angle you look at it. Despite its bulky appearance, the handling was exceptionally responsive and one can be forgiven for thinking that he or she was driving a compact family sedan. No efforts were spared in making the Evoque a joy to behold with the luxurious interior and Meridian audio to entertain the ride. Driving this car gives you the confidence to wrestle with all kinds of terrains that mother nature can throw at you, and still arrive at your destination in style.

What I like
Futuristic design.
Interior features even at the standard factory fitting level.
Versatility.
Aristocratic feel thanks to the British heritage.
Sexiest off-road vehicle out there.

What I do not like
The price.
Ride can be a bit stiff at times.
Fuel economy can be better.

Impressive Design and Excellent Handling Compact SUV.

I bought the Coupe model as I long to have a 2 doors car for its sporty look and yet the car must have the muscular look. When the Evoque was launched and said to myself, this is the one SUV that meet my desired for over the years.

The 2.0 4 cylinders turbo charged engine responds very well on our Singapore's roads. The off road functions programs also allow the compact SUV to outshine the rest of the SUV at the same category. Tested is at Simpang the other day together with a friend in his X3 and the Evoque perform very well.
The driving feelings in the luxury interior cabin I must say that it is superb!
It is you the feeling that you are in full control of the vehicle and the surrounding!

The standard sound systems is great enough to give the "Punch" with any sort of music. The rest of the features I can think of are this car is full of electronic gadgets which need time to play around to fully utilized the functions.

What I like
Everything so far on the Evoque!

What I do not like
The price of the car is on the high side and the prices for add-on accessories for the SUV by Wearnes is robbery!

Went to take a look at this new Land Rover...the 1st looks at it was IMPRESSIVE DESIGN...

Interior is similar to Jaguar..the moment you push start, the gear knob lifts up for use and turns like a audio tuner...something different from the conventional gearbox shift or paddle shift we used to see...

Seats were both electric...many other features too but need to upgrade to a higher model.

On the move, its 2.0L was ok but when at rev....its kinda slow in gear change...though it does gets heads turn over to look when you are driving...the feel given is WOW...NICE CAR...

Overall, its a nice SUV with acceptable drive if you have deep pockets to play with.

What I like
Pop up gear knob like Jaguar
Nice interior
Great body shape

What I do not like
Price...too high gap between models.

Just collected my Dynamic 5-dr variant and simply love look but more importantly the presence and how it makes you feel.

Comfort is excellent changing from a 370Z but thats not a fair comparison.

Was worried about reliability issues but everything works well despite all the electronics in the car.

Handling is better than any other SUV that I've test-driven prior to making the purchase which is why I went for it. But perhaps the Q3 and X3/5/6 would prove better but I can't say since I did not test-drive any of them.

Exterior styling is definitely the best looking SUV available at this moment.

Interior styling beats anything I've driven or sat in coming from a previous stable of Japanese and German makes.

Features - this car has about everything you really need as standard (at least for the Dynamic variant). Impressive touch screen and Land Rover's ride programs for different terrains. Jaguar type gear selector that rises when the engine start button is activated. The standard meridian sound sys is fantastic. Sound proofing is excellent as well as I don't hear the motorcycle buzzing nor the loud exhausts roars from the mod up cars around me. Still there's a long options list still which will definitely burn a bigger hole in the pocket.

Value of money is a tough one initially but after knowing that rivals such as Audi and BMW have similar/lower OMVs but are asking for a higher price makes me realise that the premium on this car isn't too bad.

Engine performance is typical of a 2L turbo like what I previously had in the Golf GTI but not as quick due to the heavier weight and higher ride height. Gear changes could be more refined as the gears may seem undecided at times.

Overall, the Evoque has made my daily driving much more pleasant such that I enjoy the drive more than before removing the urge to rush on the road which I usually did in all my previous rides.

What I like
1. Ride height
2. Loads of standard hi-tech features
3. Looks
4. Power of a hot-hatch if required
5. Unique day-time running LEDs

What I do not like
1. Wish it had the bonnet vents of the Coupe
2. Darker tint on all the screens/windows
3. Could probably perform better with a bigger engine displacement

The only complaint I have on this car is its association with Mrs Beckham! Apparently, I'm not alone.

This is a car built with a Ford Mondeo chassis, a four-cylinder engine and regretfully, an interior designed by Victoria Beckham. All these doesn't sound Land Rover at all! But it sure looked stunning! It was a mouth drooling experience when I saw it in flesh! It is a cross of a sport car and 4x4 and still looked utterly stunning!

I had the opportunity to test drive the Evoque - Pure Si4. My first reaction - is brilliant! The interior is fabulous and remarkably, spacious! The 2 litre turbocharged petrol engine is responsively powerful coupled with silky smooth gear. The handling was supreme. It comes with various choices of driving modes. The ideal mode in my opinion is the Sport setting because it provides you the adrenaline pumping experience and matching cabin lighting - brilliant!

The technology that goes into this car is amazing. Take the central console for example. It is located in the middle of the dash and capable of providing dual views at the same time. Meaning the passenger can watch the DVD while I looked at the satellite navigator. There is also the surround cameras (oh yes, that is on top of the surround speakers). These cameras provide you live feeds to aid you in preventing anything from coming near your prized marque. All these are just the tip of the techno iceberg that Evoque is equipped.

Then you also have the off-road capability which is identical to it's bigger sibling - Range Rover Sport. Regretfully, I wasn't able to test out the off-road capability. I suspect no Evoque owner would want to roll off the beautiful tarmac and onto the muddy ravine. It's like wearing your beautiful office outfit on a trekking trip!

In sum, Evoque does not have the iconic outlook if a proper Range Rover, but it has all the aspect of a Range Rover coupled with an Audi TT. Evoque will undoubtedly replace the iconic image of the mighty Range Rover.

What I like
Conceptual look coupled with futuristic technology.

What I do not like
Hmmm...wait, let me think...oh ya, Mrs Beckham association to this fabulous car!

So disarmingly comfortable is the Evoque it becomes easy to forget that you're driving not a dedicated off-roader with long-travel suspension and diff locks, but instead a dinky hatchback that copes with roads as tautly as a Ford Focus does. The petrol will be the quickest powertrain. It's the 2.0 turbo direct-injection engine from the latest Mondeo, but powered up to 240 horses. It's re-engineered to allow the usual Range Rover off-roading ruggedness. It can still run when tipped at 45 degrees, or you're 50cm deep in water. The Evoque is a very cool car wherever it goes. The Evoque shell feels strong and solid, and everything is well bolted to it. This matters. It's smaller and lower than a Q5 or X3 but it will cost as much, and those vehicles are granite-strong. The Evoque has to match them. The Evoque's got lovely compliant suspension and phenomenal damping. It simply flows over even the worst tarmac. Flat but never jarring, pliant but never sloppy, it has the same extraordinary breathability of the best Jaguars.

It even eased over knee-deep sludgy ruts without a clank or scrape, tackling a 45-degree, slick-mud incline with nothing more than a judder of the traction control, a hill at the very limit of even the Freelander's abilities. It's an easy car to slot through traffic, feeling compact and dainty, the steering sharp and the visibility surprisingly bearable, considering the Evoque's squished rear.

Despite its wedged profile, there's plenty of rear-seat space in both the three-and five-door Evoque, but if you're planning on putting kids back there, bear in mind that the narrow windowline will make long journeys claustrophobic. Solve this by speccing the giant, panoramic sunroof, and the ideal birthday present for any budding junior astronomer.

Fear, dismay, disgust. These are the reactions when one first hears that Mrs Victoria Beckham (yes, the former Spice Girl) is the lead consultant in designing the new Land Rover Evoque. I mean, Her Royal Poshness is not known for quiet, understated classiness - something that stiff-upper lipped Land Rover has come to embody. But I stand humbly corrected. The final product is a smouldering stunner. Like a very rich, very eligible, very SEXY Uptown Girl. Can't wait for her next collaboration...

What I like
The looks, the finishing, the luxury

What I do not like
The price

Been waiting for the car to be launched ever since the concept was mooted for production. Finally, a Rangie that ain't boxy. What use to be a SUV manufacturer that was beautiful to sit on the inside but way to plain from the outside, has now come to term that look does matter. The interior, simply comfortable. All functions are within reach, and easy to understand. But due to the sportiness of the car, view from the inside may cause some people to feel claustrophobic. But heck, it's cozy enough for me. The the gear is taken from Jaguar, I just felt it has lost the utilitarian sense that rangie always carries. It felt so computerized.

Exterior, what more is there to say? The design is simply beautiful (fine, I can be a tad bit bias as I am a big fan of rangie). It does get some getting use to for loyal rangie fans but this is one baby I would say love at first sight. Freelander with a squint-ier eyes..

Ride, well, on the normal tar road, for an SUV, further more utilitarian type, road handling is fantastic. Too bad I never got the chance to ride it on less driven road (if you know what I mean). But if it is built with the utilitarian mind set, I doubt it would fare any worse then the existing Rangie's capability on less driven road. But for urban use, its fantastic, small yet ready to take on any obstacle that may come in its way.

I am bias on the price cause I am so jealous of the fact that it may take me another year to save for a 5 door version. But truly, between an X3, Q5 and Evoque, it has got to be the Evoque, simply because of style, functionality, style, the heritage. Plus, why buy an SUV from a all-rounder car manufacturer, when a specialist is in town?

What I like
The sportiness of it's look, the cozy-ness of its interior, the functionality of its drive train (if it carries the Rangie character from Freelander and Range Rover)..

What I do not like
the price (but heck, you get what you pay), the view from the inside (which seems to be Rangies biggest concern here), no diesel in Singapore..

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
