I had collected my a180 style used, it was reg dec 2017, with 14000 km!!! Basically brand new. Collected jan 2024, so far no problems. It has ambient lighting in the seat holes, under the seat, at the door handles. Bonnet is pretty damn long tho with short height and sporty looks. Mine is halogen not led, still looks sporty. Alright for 5, js not to thailand or too far. Fuel consumption alright or around 18km/l, i have to top up nearly every week. 120bhp is ok in sg. But engine no prob so far

I have been driving A250 about 2 years in Malaysia. And it is a true beast when you step on the pedal. Turbo lag is there, but once it's settle down, it can easily go thru 180km/hr without even know you are there!
When you got this kind of car, you better try it up hill and North-south Highway in Msia. Going up Genting highland is a breeze! So far no one can really overtake you. (maybe no luck for me) For highway drive, you can easily maintained 140-160km/hr with just about 2.5k-3k rpm.
Mind you, suspension is damn hard and you will not want to drive on bumpy road, especially at the back seat. Though the new face-lift improved this a lot.
I do also test the best FC for this kind of car. When most of the time I keep 2000rpm, I could acheive 13km/L. But of course, no point of owning this car for that!

What I like
- 0-100 km/h time of 6.6 seconds and a 240 km/h top speed!
-superb handling
-nice design (AMG)
-you could make no one can overtake you.

What I do not like
-uncomfortable, firm and bumpy at the back seat
-fuel consumption when roar
-small car

Went to catch a glimpse of this small fellow in the Mercedes range.

Exterior looks sporty and fierce and at the side looks gentle and nimble to drive. It’S likely to compete against the Mini and Clio ranges.

Inside you will get a good feel of the interior styling and design of a Mercedes. Drawback is it comes with fabric seats instead of leather but it comes with some gadgets that are usually needed to pay extra for previously. There is also a need to lock the car by pressing key fob than the other models of touch or walk away lock as it does have as an option. It also doesn’T come with LED headlights as standard from factory too.

The drive is a breeze and take off from still movement you will feel the push of the engine the moment you tap on the throttle though it’S got no turbo in it. Gear engagement is light feel or no feel and no lag in gear changes too.

The nimbleness of this A class can compare to the mini in handling and pick up. Cornering of this fellow is not a problem just like to a mini. Only minimal body roll feel which is great. But it will be good if the suspension can be a little higher for humps which I do see Mercedes offers as an option for a small top up.

Bottom line, It’S up to the decision maker on which one to get based on preference like the simplicity of the A class or you are a fashion fanatic that will go for the mini.

What I like
Nimble drive
Additional gadgets than before
Instant pickup
Fast gear changes

What I do not like
No leather seats from factory.
No fully auto locking.
Suspension too low.
Price a little steep.
No led headlights from factory.

I took the A180 last month and I am still quite fascinated by my new ride.
Overall, its good buy with all the features and performance considering that i last drove a C200 2007 model.
The main setback being the road and tyre noise level originally provided by C&C; The lack of rear aircon blower and the rear view when driving.
Overall, i am still enjoying my daily cruising. The pick up is quite solid for a basic model and the cruising is enjoyable. I must also praise the exterior and styling of the car.
If you don'y mind the space limitation, have a limited budget or you don't want to spend too much, I would recommend the A180

What I like
1. Styling (exterior)
2. Interior features and engine system (dynamic select and many other features)
3. Smooth pick up

What I do not like
1. Tyre and road noise
2. Space
3. Rear view when driving

I drove this as a courtesy car when my B class was having the windscreen replaced when it was hit by a falling tree branch. My parents asked me why I didn't buy this car instead, especially when it was cheaper, although not by much. It is the same engine with the same transmission but the feel is totally different. The gear change is smoother and the power is uninterrupted. I can't believe 122hp feels like this. It hugs the road but still retains suppleness in the suspension and an overall elegance and grace. It's a small car that carries a mature flair due to its very solid built. There is also a certain cuteness to it. My next next car, highly probably. It commands a premium of other small cars but costs less than many Japanese and Korean midsize. I'd rather have this.

What I like
Engine and transmission
Smug, cosy and quality cabin for its price.
Handling.
Overall looks.

What I do not like
Adding up the options is expensive.
a little more rear space would be nice.

Consider between V40, A180 and 218 but choose A180 at last.
Good car brand and sale service.
Better price compare to others with CPA function which is the only reason to chabge car foe me.

Collect car one week, so far so good.
Expensive but worth it.

Love it.

PS: Previous one is Peugeot, veru reliable also, no trouble except once.

What I like
Every thing.

What I do not like
So far no.

The acceleration for this car is noisy, but again it is a sporty car. I don't particularly like the small rear windscreen and the crammed space for passengers behind. The headroom is also limited for front and rear. The front seats aren't all that comfortable as well. I found the parallel parking assist redundant and it doesn't work well all the time.

What I like
the look of the exterior

What I do not like
the parallel park assist and the crammed space
