Review
I saw the Toyota Sienta Dice in a PI showroom recently and was very amazed by its concept.
The Sienta Dice is practical and affordable, and seems to be a reliable made-in-Japan Toyota.
The 3rd row seats can be kept neatly under the 2nd row, which makes the car a 5 seater. With the size of the car, it is very easy to forget that you are driving an MPV. It is easy to maneuver like a sedan, and I don't forsee any problems with parking that a normal MPV may have.
But don't get me wrong, the 3rd row is actually quite spacious, and my friend who is 1.8m tall can sit at the back comfortably. But of course putting up the rear seats would mean sacrificing the boot space of the car.
The sliding doors are also useful, especially if you have to park in tight and narrow lots, or if you park next to a pillar. You don't have to worry about your passengers or children hitting something on their way out and damaging the car. Also, older folks can get in and out easily since the steps are low and the opening is wide.
The interior is quite simple, and there arent any fanciful gadgets, or keyless entry. This new facelift is more stylish and modern compared to the older model, and the front bumper looks a lot more sporty than the older model with the 2 round light. But the overall shape is still something that not everyone may like. After all, there is not much that can be changed about the shape and design of an MPV with sliding doors.
Overall, it is a comfortable and functional ride that is affordable and easy to maintain.
What I like
- Good Fuel Consumption.
- Comes in many unique colours, not like other MPVs.
- Affordable.
What I do not like
- Lack of gadgets
- Have to choose between boot space and seating capacity.
- The shape of the car at the rear.
