Appreciate the car more after my road trip `
|
|
I used to be skeptical over Latio. It looks like a car from the bread shop and cartoon-ise to look at. However, if you go beyond it looks and dig deeper, you will appreciate it more. Recently had a car trip up north to Kuantan via the north-south highway. The car manages good speed without a hitch. Though loud at very high speed, the car manages to pull away from traffic easily. The car has a two stage acceleration nature, when you depress the accelerator to the second stage, the car pulls away very well. For a family oriented car, its more than you ask for. Interior wise, it is sufficiency large for the price range, I am more than 6-foot tall and the car sits me comfortable.

Truth to be told, I bought this car only because it was within my budget and I was comparing between the Avante and Latio. In the end, the Latio won over solely because of the "Made in Japan" badge.
Till date, it has not disappointed me, but it has not thrilled me either.
It is still a decent "bread and butter" car, the extact what I was looking and paying for. So, no complain
