2011 Elantra Elite 1.6A `
I have drive 4 Japanese car and this is my very first Korean ride. I must say that it has been a pleasant workhorse for me. Was looking for a decent car with large room as i need to place a car seat at the back sit with another 2 passengers at the back. In my previous Honda Accord, i always reject my friends as i am not able to ferry them due to the smaller room constraint. The engine does not feel like a 1.6 as the 6speed auto transmission was amazing. It is perfect for our city driving condition it change gear so quickly without having to drag its gear to high RPM for power. i am surprised how well this family sedan handles. It allow you to take bends with confident. the Korean have taken a big step in the car industry. They have invaded most of our home with the electronics, next they will conquer our road.

Best Korean Car ever owned `
How time flies, I having been driving this beauty babe for 3 years. Never have any regrets, Brought it upon recommendation from friend even without viewing & test drive the actual car as it was not launch yet in Singapore. Best part was i can only read up the specs with information from the internet. Oh boy i was damn impressed how it look from the exterior with the sleek aerodynamic lines and cool interior features u can have in 1.6L Korean car. Korean cars have indeed surpass the Japanese cars from that time, My friends and strangers have been asking me what car i was driving during 2011 when all the people are still skeptical about the performance and design of Korean Cars. As for the performance, if you are not very particular person, there is nothing to complain except for concerning your rear tends to swift out and the pick up is a bit slow due to the heavy weight of the car. But if you are into modding, there are tons of poisons to beautify ride and performance items bring your ride to a greater level. Another feature worth to mention is the sound system for this ride, I am surprised that it was a decent system as compare to what other car brand have bundle in the new car for 1.6L really CMI.

Most reliable car i've ever owned in my life `
Bought in End March 2011 and it's a 2nd hand, at mileage 7500km. Current mileage is 36000km and ride is as good as before. Went to Penang, Genting, Malacca and Legoland and the rides are excellent throughout the whole journey. Handling is a bit loose out, but i have since changed to coilover to improve the handling.

My First First-hand Car. Well-loved. `
I purchased this car when the COE was lowest during the past one year (Aug 11). Although I had no intention to purchase the car before my dealer introduced me to it, I had no regrets whatsoever when I got my keys. Starting from the exterior, the car has got aggressive lines based on the fluidic sculpture design language of the all-new Hyundai series (since I was amongst the first few to get their hands on the car, someone even commented it look like a BMW from the side angle!) Internally, the settings and placements of storage area are well thought of and everything is within reaching distance for me, although the central aircon vents leave something to be desired as they are not that flexible. The glove and handrest compartments are very large and the leg space for front and rear seats are a lot. The windscreen is also vast and much can be seen from the driver's point of view. Performance wise, the engine, gear and everything works well, although I have never managed to reach the claims of 6.7l/100km touted by Hyundai (my best was 7.3l or about 13km/l - still good enough for an auto transmission car in my opinion). In-car entertainment (ICE) wise, mine was the factory-fitted dvd player (no GPS or screen) but the sound that came out from the sound system was mind-blowing to me, keeping in mind that all are stock and not aftermarket sound. All in all, I love this car so much and being the cheapest amongst the competition just about make it up for me.
