However, steering feel is a bit vague compared with my previous car, the S15, and the car tends to understeer under hard cornering. Not the best track car then but very usable as an everyday drive. Also, not for families with kids as it's a coupe and boot space is not the largest. However, its relatively rare in Singapore and this guarantees its exclusivity.

What I like
Power, toraque, smooth engine, capable chassis, very low NVH.

What I do not like
The price is too much

Having owned a C204 - C200 and C350 and a C207 - E350 coupe, I traded toe coupe for the 335i sedan.

Why would I do this? Simply, I wanted a stylish 4 door sedan, capable of producing <5.5 sec to 100 km, without looking ostentatious. The 335i is a totally driving experience to a 6 cylinder Benz. Endless torque, insane acceleration yet capable of being a very refined round town car.

Having got used to 1,000,000 million buttons in the Merc, it is initially quite daunting to have such a clean and uncluttered dash.

I-Drive really has come of age and totally kicks Command APS . Navigation is a dream, iPod sync is amazing and the whole systems much more intuitive.

The Benz is a lazy cruiser, very comfortable, but the engine is harsh and for 3.5 liters, the M272 model struggles. The new CGI motor should help fix this. The 335 , with it's N55 single turbo is a 3.0 liter rocket, nice and smooth , great talk and explosive acceleration. Compared to the C350, the BM leaves it for dead.

In the handling department the BM needs no sport activation buttons. It is a firmer ride but you can't help but settle back behind the wheel and feel at one with the car. The C and the E MB in comparison feel light and vague in the steering.

So much as I will be an ardent MB fan, I have to admit the 335i trounces both the C350 sedan and the E350 coupe. If you want totally predictable , comfortable motoring buy a Benz. If you want a respectable, capable and lightening quick runaround, nothing beats the 335i.

What I like
Endless torque and power, great exhaust note, iDrive and understated styling. The 335i really is the ultimate sleeper.

What I do not like
Possibly a bit fidgety in the suspension... although this car is made to be driven and driven hard. Creeping around Sinapore at an average 30km per hour is not going to display the 335i's true capabilities.

I guess this is one of the best convertible BMW built having a very nice look and a smooth 6 cylinder. This car would definitely go well with young professional compared with it's german competitor.

I would put more money on the 335i that offers more power. Anything less than 325i would not be desirable.

What I like
Nice looking, very streamline, fits young professional.

What I do not like
What I do not like is the power of the car, feels that the car is underpowered since this car is about 200kg heavier than it's coupe brother.

Review
A unique car that BMW produced. I like the 335i, with the same body as the rest of the 3 series, but a totally different driving style and experience. It is not really suitable for people who fear SPEED. A simple tap onto the accelerator and you send the car gushing from 0-100 at 6s anytime (for my car). The steptronic mode make it even more exciting for you to explore the 306 hp twin turbo engine. Its looks so cool and its really good when cornering at high speed. The headlights make your night driving more confident, try it and you know what I mean.

What I like
-Very good acceleration.
-Looks very unique and class, giving a sporty look at the same time.
-306 hp, not a joke.
-Good handling and balancing on this car'
-Quiet and smooth when you do not wind down your window, but a monster when you wind your window down. (Give you different experience, Its like driving 2 cars)
-Good sound proof.

What I do not like
- Petrol consumption quite high, for me about 7.5km/litre. (Maybe I am a rough driver)
- Engine a bit lag when moving off in low gear, eg gear 1 or 2.
- Not spacious and back passenger seat a bit uncomfortable
