My 1st Lexus, come to think of it, my 'dream car' when i started work. Only can afford Vios then so only bought this car 2nd hand directly from Borneo Motors preown cars department when i chanced upon it in Apr22. 1 of the best cars i owned so far :)

What I like
1. Reliability! Bought it when it's about 6yrs old, no problems at all other than wear & tear
2. Lexus 1st turbo car! & drives like 1 manic if you want too. Don;t feel any turbo lag at all. Just floor & fly
3. Customized my car with Chameleon wrap since original Color so common, got lots of great compliments
4. Very comfortable driver & passenger seats; came with lumbar support. Tried driving to Melaka & back. 1 of the best drives so comfy & steady at illegal highway speeds… :p
5. Very relaxing drive as i frequently use the cruise control
6. Auto rain sensor wipers work like magic! Adjust to different rain conditions very well
7. Fuel consumption better than expected, avg about 12-13km/l thought quite good for this size & weight

What I do not like
1. Limited back row space, need to bend head a little during ingress, not very comfy for 3 adults best left for 2
2. The yesteryear mousepad design…
3. Not very cheap servicing but cannot compare to B&B cars & definitely better than other conti cars
4. Limited boot space due to higher ride height & sloping roof. Just be careful not to overload else might damage the back windscreen
5. Didn't really fully utilised the car as only own for 1 year… wish i can hold this car till end of COE

Review
This car definitely shines in its ride comfort and cabin refinement. The six-speed automatic provides seamless gear changes. A drive mode select system with Eco , Comfort & Sports settings , which let’S me adjust how eagerly the engine and gearbox respond to my right foot. A turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol , fitted with a six-speed automatic gearbox rather than the CVT of the hybrid , is a pricey , sports-oriented range-topper to this distinctive looking four-wheeled drive SUV.

The large signature Lexus spindle grill design that gives the car an aggressive road presence.

It comes with a well built interior that is nicely outfitted. The Dual-Zone climate control settings allow the driver and the front passenger to adjust their preferred temperatures. A good added feature is the touch-sensitive dome lights and map light switches , which activate with a gentle touch over the lamp itself. Reclining rear seats will make two adults in the back feel lavishly accommodated. The boot is a respectable size with more than enough room for a small family luggage or the weekly grocery shopping. And a broad square shaped aperture makes loading bulky items pretty easy.

What I like
- The front seats are extremely comfortable and are bolstered all around to provide snuggling support.

- A Remote Touch controller at the centre console , which adds further control of what’s displayed on the 7-inch high resolution full colour display. I can operate what I see on the screen via pinching , swiping , pushing or touching the touchpad as the same way as operating a smart mobile phone.

- Simple and elegant door handle adds to one of my favourite feature. Keyless entry. No need to fumble for the keys. Just reach for the door handle and the car will unlock. And just one simple touch to lock the car again.

- Bright , long lasting LED headlights and fog lights , and a power operated rear tailgate.

Review
I have never owned a Lexus but when I hear my friends talking about one, it is always about how well crafted, quiet, reliable and comfortable. They hallow it as the pinnacle of Japanese engineering and after test driving the NX200t a couple of days ago, I finally understand why, and boy do I want one.

The RX from yesteryear never really was my cup of tea but with the NX, its hard not to fall in love. The NX being a crossover, looks sharper and more compact. However, if space is your top priority then you'd probably be better off with an RX.

What I like
Better priced as compared to even the SUVs from Volkswagen etc. The car looks extremely sporty, feels very well built and handles very decently for a crossover.

Powerful for a big car, and the 6 speed transmission is much better than the one used in the RX.

Interior is has a very posh and premium feel thanks to stitched, leather-like synthetic materials that cover portions of the dashboard, center console and doors.

Lane departure warning that includes automatic steering correction, and the forward collision warning

What I do not like
Taller adults might find the rear head/leg room a bit cramp.

Potentially distracting Remote Touch interface.
