Been driving for a year now.. 1st SUV. Was very keen on an XT but prev ride was a Subaru and i was tired of visiting the petrol kiosk every 3 days. Reliable Mitsubishi and spacious with ample legroom. Passengers loved the space and the conti looking interior. Panoramic moonroof is classy.

I love the handling and engine power to weight ratio given. Not much boot space but fits 1 large stroller well and can be maximised with removable hood. Responsive pickup and engine.

best part FC is avg 12-13km/l for a 2.0! Close to 600km for a 63lit tank depending on my reving before the reserve lightsup. Reserve has been pushed till 50km minimum.

Highly recommended and reliable and easy to get spare parts anywhere. Not so common also.

What I like
Engine power
FC
Strong cold Aircon
Handling
Spacious

What I do not like
No Interior cabin light as stock
my 2011 model doesnt has touchscreen but can be fixed.

Own the car for 2months, so far so good no complain.

Before getting this car, I was looking at Nissan Qashqai 1.2 or 2.0, X-Trail & Suzuki Vitara.
Test drive all my feeling:
Qashqai 1.2 - abit under power
Qashqai 2.0 - no complain
X-Trail - abit noisy even Qashqai 1.2 is more quiet than this car
Vitara- handling abit not good

Fuel consumption is around 10-11km+ per liter, base on my light footer driving style. I think this is acceptable for a 2L car. My brother drive a 1-2L Qashqai & his fuel consumption is around 12-13L.

What I like
1. Value for money, cheapest 2L SUV in the market
2. Powerful engine
3. No start-stop system (which I like)
4. Almost full basic accessories: GPS, front camera, free servicing, blue tooth connection for phone paring, etc...

What I do not like
1. Rear seat no air con vent
2. Rear seat posture very straight
3. No Apple CarPlay

Lots of power under the hood!
Acceleration is easy when from knot to 60km/h
Very spacious despite having short length
Has very good driving position
Fc acceptable, altough not able to win QQ
Was considering XV seriously when wanting to buy this car, however XV pickup is really slow and need to rev a lot when overtaking
Very comfortable with the suspension, not to stiff
Has many advanced technology for the price of 106k,when compared to competitors.
Mitsubishi also has very good reliability as compared to other brands.
I am given 5+5 years warranty when anting to buy car.
Real good price for a cat b coe, with about 150hp and 200 nm of torque
very good road feedback when driving this car.
WILL DEFINITELY RECCOMMEND THIS CAR TO MY FRIENDS AND OTHERS!!!!!!!!

What I like
1.STRONG AIR CON
2.BIG ENGINE,POWERFUL
3.COMFY LEATHER SEATS.
4.PLENTY OF SPACE IN BACKSEAT

Pardon me for the not so perfect English. What comes to mind, I'll just shoot..
Was shopping around with wife to replace our Kia Forte and looking around for SUV as the next ride. Test drove the QQ, Vezel, Vitara and finally ASX. Without hesitation, we made a booking for ASX on the spot. Why? Simple, good price with guaranteed Cat B COE, smooth and powerful 2-litre engine, handsome and muscular appearance, not the so common QQ or Vezel you see everywhere on the road, nice interior with premium leather seat. All the modern car gadgets you can find on other models are available in ASX. Look closely and you will find some similarity of Mit ASX to Jaguar F-Pace, who copy who? Seeing more of ASX now on the road and it is still a head turner. Glad we settled for the ASX and still enjoying it tremendously..

What I like
1. Price - Real value for a 2-litres engine SUV
2. Exterior - Handsome, sturdy and commanding appearance
3. Warranty - 10 years of engine warranty (peace of mind)
5 years of unlimited warranty. This show the confidence they have in their product
6. Free servicings
7. Made in Japan and sole distributor Cycle & Carriage (again, peace of mind unlike parallel importer)
8. Lots of safety features in the car (feel safe when driving it)
9. Powerful and smooth engine..

What I do not like
1. The front and rear recording camera JS400 provided does not come with LED screen for viewing and playback. Will probably change it.

Drove my ride for about 2 weeks and did my 1k km service @ C&C. Ride is very similar to my previous ride Suzuki Grand Vitara which i owned for about 5 years (bought at S$70k then in 2007). Brought my GV to Krabi once and many trips to Penang. But GV fuel consumption is bad due to 4 speed for city driving.
So far i am ok with ASX FC at about 11-13 km/l after 3 pump of gas. Hoping to see better FC after 1st 1k km services. Drive is comfort with good A/C though it only have front vent outlets. Good driving postures due to good ground clearance. Will definitely do a far drive up north.

What I like
- Firm seats like conti feel
- Good drives with low side movements when cornering
- Good turning radius, for for U turn
- So far FC is within expectation for city driving
- Good leg room for rear seating
- Responsive MIVEC 4B11 engine
- Good 6-speed CVT transmission for smooth ride
- Easy access to after markets accessories and parts if you want more for the car
- Good service @ C&C (at Leng Keng branch)- my first encounter for C&C

What I do not like
- No rear compartment cabin light (have to install at after-market shops)
- Higher noise level at wheel arc area and door; (need sound proofing)
- Sound insulation is at its minimum for this car...
- Rear seats cannot be inclined, make you sit like a soldier.. but compensate with good leg room.
- Rear boot space is limited due to spare tyre but again is for SUV purpose
- Audio system is at entry level, ok only.
- GPS is not up to expectation; use my trusted Garmin set from previous ride

I been driving the ASX since January 2016 and I can easily count the number of times I have spotted another ASX on the roads. In terms of performance, the ASX has a 2.0â„“ DOHC MIVEC engine which produces enough torque to power the Toyota Harrier (a much larger SUV).

What I like
1) 5 year unlimited mileage warranty & engine warranty (200,000km or 10 year whichever earlier) from Cycle & Carriage

2) Not common on S'pore roads (unlike the Honda Vezel which is everywhere)

3) Powerful 2.0 engine (148 bhp).

4) Paddle shifters

What I do not like
1) Bland interior

2) Full tank lasts about 500km to 550km only, which translates to about 10km per litre.

3) Higher road tax & insurance

4) Need to press a rubbery button to open the door. Sometimes, the button don't work. The Forester is using touch & open door handles (no buttons).

Test drove a ASX while shopping for a car. I am impressed by the power delivery of the ASX (compared to Qashqai/Forester). Although the seats are a little too upright for the rear, the power it delivers make up for that flaw! The ASX is also one of the cheapest 2.0L crossover in the market.

One major minus for the ASX is the wind noise. It can be quite unbearable, especially on long trip.

Cheers,
Han1911

What I like
Powerful engine
Lowest Price for a crossover
Loaded with tech gadgets

What I do not like
Wind noise
Upright rear seats
