A spontaneous visit to the showroom over the weekend led to a pleasant discovery. The Renault Scenic turned out to be a well designed car that has been thoughtfully put together. During the test drive the car proved to be agile during turns and quick in its pick up.

The salesperson, Rinee, was also very helpful and not pushy. I was very impressed by her professionalism and she offered a very good deal. My wife was also impressed by Rinee and the car.

The potential low running costs due to the diesel engine and the sporty exterior design makes the Scenic a very attractive car.

What I like
Plenty of storage space
Sliding center armrest
Frugality of diesel engine and good acceleration
Visibility due to large windscreen
Sporty 20 inch rims
Sturdy feel typical of continental cars

What I do not like
Not really sure if there's potential problems

Review
Been driving my new Renault Scenic 1.5T Privilege dCi (A) for almost 4 months now and I must say I love it more and more.

The trendy design (lemon yellow with panoramic sun-roof) couple with excellent fuel economy and many hi-tech equipment included is more than I have bargained for. I spent only about S$75 for diesel and it average 1,000+ km per full tank of 53 litres.

Auto parking and auto real seat reclining are an added plus amongst other excellent features.

This is not a super fast car but it carry sufficient punch when I need it.

What I like
The trendy look.
The technology.
Its frugal
Sufficient power with turbo built in

What I do not like
The 8 inch infotainment needs to be better streamline and updated.
Did a few upgrading but so far did not see any significant improvement.
Back aircon vent air flow is a bit weak.

Got my Scenic privilege for 1 month+ now, on normal driving my Fc is 5.5L/100km and diesel is way cheaper than petrol. Safety features like blind spot monitoring, all round sensors auto high beam and fixed speed cam or red light cam warning are almost all complete except without autonomous braking.
Diesel engine + turbo pickup from a standstill can outrun many cars, tried 150km on NSH and pretty stable.
Yet to encounter any problems with the car.
4 usb ports, 3 12v dc ports.
feels solid than most Jap cars.

a car that will make u look back after locking is definitely a good looker

What I like
Good FC
Good pickup
Sharp steering
Good features
Bright LED headlamp and tail lamp
Rear aircon position at B pillar instead of centre console
The customisable instrument panel display
active air shutters for better FC

What I do not like
20'' rims with eco-profile tyres that are pretty expensive
if u wish to change engine oil outside must get the type meant for DPF rated ACEA C3 or C4.
the temptation to be a heavy foot driver for the shiok feel of the 260nm torque is always there...

Have been driving this new car for a week now and it's very comfortable for the whole family. Spacious enough with good boot space. Nice exterior design which turn heads. Transmission is very smooth compared to other continental makes. So far it's been a great experience driving it.

What I like
- Spacious interior
- Generous boot space
- Elevated driver seat
- Smooth 7 gear transmission
- Nice exterior
- Many safety features included (5 star NCAPP)

What I do not like
- Noisy engine as it's diesel
- Android Auto is not installed due to licensing issue
- Acceleration is not quick enough due to low horsepower.

Review
I just drove this car for about 2 weeks. I was told I am the 10th owner of Renault Scenic 5 seater in Singapore !

Generally, I am happy with the purchase.

Renault buying experience is very good, compared to the last Nissan car I buy from Tan Cheong.

What I like
a) Extremely good looking car. French has a way to make the car look nice
b) Good interior with many gadgets
c) Smooth DIESEL engine (it is nevertheless a diesel engine, not as quite as petrol)
d) Very comfortable seats with striking tan color leather
e) Very good FC of 17-18 km / l
f) Diesel is cheaper then petrol

What I do not like
Being diesel engine, it is a little nosier when you are outside the car. But it doesn't bother me.
