New front, rear and interior styling tweaks for 2015 Volkswagen Jetta

In addition to styling refinements, the overall efficiency in the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta has been improved by reducing air drag and utilising new tyres that help improve rolling resistance. New driver assistance systems are available, such as Blind Spot Detection, frontal collision warning and rear cross-traffic alert.
The latest generation Jetta can be recognised by its redesigned radiator grille with three cross fins, optional Bi-Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), and new bumpers.
The boot lid has an aerodynamic trailing edge, and the sides of the subtle integrated spoiler extends into the rear fenders and into the contour of the car's silhouette near the character line.
Volkswagen has introduced numerous aerodynamic modifications for a more slippery design, starting with new bumpers, optimised air intakes, and aerodynamically refined rain gutters on the sides near the A-pillars.
One new aerodynamic feature on the Jetta 1.8T and 2.0 TDI Clean Diesel is a closable shutter for the radiator grille, which guides airflow around the body, as such aiding aerodynamics and reducing fuel consumption.
Inside, the Jetta sees an upgraded interior with new materials and an enriched assortment of available equipment. The dash gauges are now framed in chrome edged tubes on mid and high-level trims, with an available colour multifunction display nestled in between.
The 2015 Jetta continues to offer three four-cylinder gasoline engines (2.0-litre, turbocharged 1.8T and 2.0T TSI), a 1.4-litre turbocharged full hybrid and a 2.0-litre turbocharged TDI Clean Diesel engine. Buyers can expect engine lineup to differ from the U.S.A., when the all new Jetta is available here.
Volkswagen believes, the 150bhp rated, 2.0-litreTDI Clean Diesel engine offered in the 2015 Jetta is one of the most fuel-efficient engines in its class. The maximum torque of 356Nm is available from just 1,750rpm up to 3,000rpm.
The TDI Clean Diesel engine is the first engine to be introduced to the U.S. which utilises the new Modular Diesel System (MDB) from Volkswagen. Many components of the MDB engines are used in a modular way, including the exhaust system components and the injection system and turbocharging systems.
