The infamous Honda Civic road bully has been fined $5,400 and banned from driving for two years on Thursday.
25-year old student Quek Zhen Hao had driven recklessly and caused danger to other road users. At one point, he even got out of his car and approached a female motorist in a threatening manner.
In his defence, Quek said he was remorseful and has since learnt to control himself. He pleaded for the driving ban to be reconsidered as he needs to help his father with delivery as he is getting old and suffers from eye and brain problems.
District Judge Soh Tze Bian, however, dismissed Quek's plea, saying that the condition of his father is not a mitigating factor for the offence that Quek has committed.
For his rash act which endangers life, Quek could have been jailed for up to one year.
