XV, will embark on its most challenging endurance journey yet with a 34,922km round commute from London, U.K. to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Corinne Copreni and Jess Watt - two Canadian adventurers that make up the Offtrax team - have entered the Mongolia Charity Rally, an epic Pan-Continental road trip from the U.K. to Mongolia.
Offtrax is supporting Go Help and Make a Wish Canada. Go Help is a charitable organisation providing emergency services vehicles as well as school and medical support to the poorest Mongolian villages and communities while Make a Wish Canada is raising funds to grant wishes to seriously ill children.
Throughout the journey, the team hopes to raise in excess of $5,000 Canadian dollars (S$5,774). During the trip, the XV will visit 32 countries, cross five deserts and span seven different time zones, with a large distance covered off-road.
The only modifications made to the car are a bonnet protector and a sump guard. It even remains on the same original equipment all-weather tyres as other XVs, with the team relying on the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system as well as famed reliability, ruggedness and build quality to get them all the way to Ulaanbaatar.
