Traffic back to normal at the Causeway after drivers stop strike

According to a local report, the strike by Malaysian bus drivers at the Johor Checkpoint has ended.
Chinese newspaper Sin Chew daily reported that traffic condition has resumed to normal by 8:00am, after local authorities promised to look into the toll hike within a week.
Due to the strike, commuters were seen crossing the Causeway on foot.
The bus drivers were unhappy about the increase of more than 500 percent in toll charges, which came into effect on 1st August.
