Close to 250 Jaguar owners turned up at the Jaguar showroom yesterday evening for the first-ever Jaguar Owner Appreciation Night organised by Wearnes Automotive.
These owners were amongst the first to test drive the all new F-TYPE Coupe, which was launched recently. With 376bhp and 460Nm of torque at its disposal and the ability to finish the century sprint in 4.9 seconds, the F-TYPE Coupe S 3.0 V6 roared down the streets of the Leng Kee automotive belt, giving these owners a hell of a time.
At the same time, the 2014 XJ 2.0-litre was also available for test drives. Although the main star of the evening was the F-TYPE Coupe, the flagship sedan did not fail to attract attention.
Following the trend of downsizing, the XJ has received a 2.0-litre turbocharged heart transplant from the Range Rover Evoque for this year. Capable of 237bhp and 340Nm of torque, the new powerplant is set to find its sweet spot in the local XJ lineup.
What are beautiful cars and delicious food without awesome music? Aside from the aural entertainment of the F-TYPE Coupe, local retro band, Jive Talkin', was present too and belted out some of its favourite tunes.
Special offers were also available exclusively for Jaguar owners and guests across the Jaguar range.
