One of the leading aftermarket car electronics firm, Pioneer, has recently showcased its 2015 product lineup, which includes a range of exciting new products designed to enhance the in-car entertainment experience.
The firm continues its focus on in-car smart phone connectivity with a slew of improvements to its multimedia receivers. Building on the success of AppRadio Mode, Pioneer has released a new AppRadioLIVE app, which has a new interactive interface, allowing users to integrate and access functions on their smart phones such navigation, music, news information and calendar event apps simultaneously.
Users can now connect their smart phones to the receivers via the device's USB cable, eliminating complex setup, which was previously required.
The new multimedia receivers also boast improved sound quality and AV features, such as a 13-band Graphic Equaliser and Auto Time Alignment function. Previously available only on flagship models, these functions are now available on models that are more competitively priced so that more users can enjoy such features.
At the event, Pioneer also launched a new lineup of CD receivers with built-in Bluetooth capability. For the first time, the new models, including the DEH-X6750BT, feature Full Time Connection for up to two smart phones. Other features include a wide speech band for clearer telephony function and wireless audio browsing with an expanded media access with Media App Control and MIXTRAX, the firm's proprietary music analysis and music mixing feature.
Completing the new product lineup is a pair of new audio components, namely the GM-D1004 digital amplifier and the new G-series speakers.
Despite its ultra-compact design, the GM-D1004 produces 100W from each of its four channels without compromising on music clarity. The digital amplifier is also Pioneer's smallest to date.
The new G-series speaker, on the other hand, has been re-engineered to combine crystal clear sound and power at an affordable price. The cone is made of Injection Molded Polypropylene (IMPP), which produces a stronger and more impactful bass.
Other features include a high sensitivity speaker to offer superior sound clarity, increased power handling and a new cosmetic design.
