The CLA gains an elongated boot for expanded cargo space

The CLA-Class possesses an unmistakable design in the increasingly popular four-door coupe segment and Mercedes-Benz aims to continue the success story with an all new design icon - the CLA Shooting Brake - which is in essence a smaller CLS Shooting Brake.
Measuring 4,630mm long, sitting 1,777mm wide and standing 1,435mm tall, the CLA Shooting Brake sits lower and gains an elongated coupe-style roof contour line.
The low greenhouse and the sweep of the high beltline are key design features of the CLA Shooting Brake's distinctive profile while the gently sloping roof line offers significantly more headroom than in the four-door coupe.
The exterior's progressive, sporty appearance continues in the cabin. The twin-tube instrument cluster comprises two large round dials, each with a small round dial set inside it.
The CLA Shooting Brake features the latest generation of telematics systems supported by a free-standing 7.0-inch display screen. Another highlight is the new generation of three-spoke steering wheel in different variants, including a flat bottomed multi-function sports steering wheel with red or black topstitching.
A limited OrangeArt Edition (banner), as the name suggests, places a strong emphasis on the colour orange starting with the highlight rings around the bi-xenon headlamps. It continues on the rim flanges of the 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels while orange and black sports seats in addition to orange contrast topstitching are offered in the cabin.
The CLA Shooting Brake will initially be available with a choice of two diesel and three petrol engines as well as with 4MATIC all-wheel drive when it goes on sale early next year.
