Mazda CX-3 awarded Thailand Car of the Year 2016

Mazda Motor Corporation has announced that the Mazda CX-3 compact crossover sport utility vehicle has been named Thailand Car of the Year 2016 by the Thai Automotive Journalists Association. New models assembled in Thailand and launched between 1st October 2015 and 30th September 2016 were eligible for the award.
The CX-3 was chosen as the top pick among 10 finalists by a judging panel comprising over 40 automotive journalists. It was the fifth model in Mazda's new generation lineup of vehicles featuring SkyActiv technology and 'KODO: Soul Of Motion' design. It combines premium styling with dimensions and packaging that make it easy to use in any situation, and performance that makes it a genuine pleasure to drive.
Production of the award-winning CX-3 began at Auto Alliance Co., Ltd., Mazda's production facility in Thailand, in October 2015 and 4,787 units of the model were sold in the country in 2016. Mazda will exhibit the updated CX-3 for the first time in Thailand at the 38th Bangkok International Motor Show. The show opens to special guests on 27th March, to the press on 28th March, and is open to the general public from 29th March through 9th April.
