The same engine is also found in the high-performance AMG S 63 version, and the unit takes the place of the outgoing 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine in the previous version. In this form, the 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 has been tuned to produce 612bhp and 900Nm of torque, offering superior performance with significantly improved efficiency.
