Rolls-Royce Head of Design Giles Taylor resigns

Rolls-Royce has announced the departure from the company of Head of Design, Giles Taylor, who has decided to leave Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and the BMW Group to pursue alternative business interests.
Taylor had been head of design at the BMW-owned brand since 2012. During his tenure at the helm of Rolls-Royce design, he helped to usher in the brand's new identity, with the launch of the new Phantom and the Cullinan marking a change in styling direction.
Taylor will leave the business with immediate effect. According to Rolls-Royce, an announcement with regard to a successor will be made in due course.
