The best-selling Audi A4 is finally unveiled

It's been 25 years since the Audi A4 was created and in that time, over seven and a half million units have been manufactured.
Fast forward to today, a revised model has been carefully assembled. Featuring a new modernised look, an updated engine with a 12V mild hybrid system and an interior that has been finely-tuned, the new Audi A4 proves why it's one of the most luxurious and upscaled executive sedans in its class.
At the launch in Bolzano, Italy, the new sedan on the block sports a simplified cabin that's nevertheless well-groomed and grown-up. There's now a new operating concept for the crisp 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that functions via touch inputs instead of a rotary knob.
Thus, the centre console has been cleaned up, with the rotary knob and its controls replaced with a cubby hole.
Such simplification, while common in many cars in its class, clearly shows how Audi stands apart by mixing material goodness with technological superiority.
And as you'd come to expect from an Audi, there's a level of attention to details that's so high you'll be hard pressed to argue otherwise that the German carmaker is a step ahead in terms of luxury against class-leading peers like the BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
Space-wise, the A4 doesn't disappoint. Roomy seats are available for three Asian adults at the back while the luggage capacity remains at 480 litres, which means three Callaway golf bags will fit without much fuss.
Also generous is the time spent on the car's exterior design. In our eyes, elegance is the key defining characteristic - something that Audi has managed to pull off without coming across as pretentious or exaggerated.
You get full LED headlamps as standard, with 'eyebrows' daytime running lights that set the design standards. There is also the top-of-the-line head lights featuring the Matrix LED technology with fully automatic high beam.
The Audi A4 is expected to arrive on our shores in the first quarter of next year.
