The new GX460 luxury SUV is based on the recently launched Toyota Land Cruiser, and will make its world debut at next week’s Guangzhou Motor Show. However, pictures have appeared online before its launch which details how the new Lexus off-roader looks like.
On the outside, the GX460 is differentiated from the Land Cruiser with its chrome Lexus grille, reworked headlights and tail lamps, new bumpers and chrome trimming on the side windows and lower door mouldings.
Inside, the Lexus GX460 is expected to be more luxurious than the Land Cruiser, with unique designs for the instrument panel and centre console. Lexus has not disclosed any information about the powerplants, but the GX460 is expected to use the 4.6-litre V8 engine found in the Toyota Tundra pickup that produces 310bhp.
