Protoscar had previously showcased their LAMPO concept car at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, and is now returning to its home event this year with a new all-electric roadster concept, called the LAMPO2.
The LAMPO2 is a two-seater roadster that has a new aerodynamic body as well as a refreshed interior that boasts a large digital instrument panel. One design feature that has been retained from the original LAMPO concept is the rear wheel covers.
The LAMPO2 features two electric motors, one on each axle that allows the system to operate as a four-wheel drive with variable torque between front and rear axle. Power output has been increased from 268bhp and 440Nm of torque on the LAMPO to 408bhp and 640Nm of torque on the LAMPO2.
Protoscar says that the LAMPO2 is able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 5 seconds, and reach a top speed of 200km/h. The Swiss company also says that the LAMPO2’s lithium-ion battery can offer a range of 200km when fully charged.
