MTM has given both the GTI and GTD hatchbacks improved power through its new tuning packages. For the GTI, the Wettstetten-based tuner has increased its power output up to 310bhp, thanks to some minor modifications to the ECU and the installation of MTM's own turbocharger.

There are also three other ECU-tuning packages offered by MTM available for the GTI, with the most basic version having a power output of 270bhp. The GTI with 310bhp has 410 Nm of torque and is able to go from 0-100km/h in 5.7 seconds, and reach a top speed of 270km/h.

The Volkswagen Golf GTD meanwhile gets an increase in power as well, and now produces 205bhp and 380Nm of torque. This enables the diesel-powered hot hatch to go from 0-100km/h in 7.1 seconds, quicker than the standard GTD's time of 7.8 seconds.

MTM has also given the Golfs a few minor cosmetic enhancements, which include 9-inch BIMOTO 9-spoke wheels, an MTM brake system with 380 mm discs, MTM's quad-exhaust system, and the tuner's in-house suspension kit that can lower the front of the GTI by 30 mm. The GTD also gets an MTM quad sport exhaust system, MTM suspensions, brake system and sport rims.
