Rumours suggest that Jason Castriota designed it. But Shelby Supercars won't confirm, or deny.
This very vague picture hints at a September début. And, we can't wait.
The first generation Ultimate Aero is the car that stole Bugatti's coveted "fastest production car in the world" title. In September 2007, an SC Ultimate Aero TT drove to a speed of 412.28 km/h (256.18 mph), knocking Bugatti from the top spot.
A little over two years later, Bugatti fired back with their 1,200 bhp Super Sport. This special edition Veyron achieved a top speed of 431.00 km/h (267.81 mph), reclaiming the title for Bugatti.
So, you'd expect that Shelby Supercars new model will be gunning for the title.
I guess we'll know in™September.
