The Verso-S is Toyota's entry in the mini-MPV segment, currently occupied in Europe by the likes of the Kia Venga, Opel Meriva and the Citroen C3 Picasso. It will replace the Yaris Verso in Europe and the Ractis in Japan.

Toyota have not released much details about the Verso-S, but the car measures in at just under 4 metres in length, and will be based on the Yaris' platform. Range of engines is set to be similarly based on the Yaris.

Of the other highlights on the Toyota stand include models that reaffirm the Japanese company's commitment to hybrid technology and fuel-efficient transportation, such as the Prius Plug-In Hybrid and the Auris Hybrid Synergy Drive models, both of which will be launched at the show.

There will also be a Hybrid Synergy Drive Gallery on Toyota's stand, and other models on show include the updated iQ city car, as well at the FT-CH sports concept car, which was originally unveiled at the North American International Motor Show earlier this year.
