Subaru has announced the BRZ sport coupe and Impreza 5-door will make their debuts at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6. Following its world premiere at the Tokyo Auto show in November last year, the BRZ is rolling out in Japan now, with plans to launch in US and other markets.
The Subaru BRZ is a 2+2 sport compact coupe co-developed with Toyota. Along with its Toyota twin, the GT86, it features a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout powered by a Subaru developed horizontally opposed 2.0-litre engine producing 197 bhp and 205 Nm of torque.
Subaru will also show for the first time a European-spec fourth generation Impreza 5-door. The global car will be equipped with a 1.6-litre petrol boxer engine. Further details and pricing will be announced in Geneva.
