Audi and Mercedes have been rolling out their high performance versions of their RS and AMG variants while BMW has watched them from the sides. Well, not anymore. BMW has reportedly hinted that it'll develop hardcore variants of the M lineup to up their own game and displace it competitors.

Speaking to former Automobile Magazine Road Test Editor, Marc Noordeloos, "It will an interesting year. With regards to having an AMG Black Series competitor. It appears BMW has done their PR job splendidly," he said.
