Utilising the 2012 SLS AMG Roadster as a base, the modern Gullwing's running gear required slight changes, but the handmade aluminium body, will be modelled after the 1955 car.
Certain changes were required to fuse the old with the new, including changing the position of the pop-out rear spoiler and modernising the headlights with LED's.
The soft top fabric is also replaced with a removable hard top. The redesigned grille is reminiscent of older Mercedes models and the three pointed star is replaced with an illuminated GWA emblem.
The car sits on custom GWA Evolution wheels mounted on Continental tyres with a special exhaust system and adjustable height suspension finishing off the enhancements.
