Ferrari's latest limited edition halo car - the LaFerrari - was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year and it was revealed the performance hybrid will be produced with just 499 units. As a refresher, the LaFerrari has 950bhp at its disposal from its hybrid V12 powertrain and tips the scale at just 1.2 tonnes.

Interestingly, a prominent U.K. based magazine has echoed Chief Designer, Flavio Manzoni's, insights on a more exclusive version of the car to be produced in a handful of numbers. A Ferrari representative has also confirmed a special variant of the LaFerrari to be in the works in Maranello.

And if you thought the Lamborghini Veneno was overpriced - the flamboyant LaFerrari spin off - will be priced between £3 million (S$5.74 million) and £5 million (S$9.56 million). According to the designer, one design prototype was kept for a future product, as it was really beautiful among other several prototypes that were conceived for the LaFerrari design study.

It is also believed the special LaFerrari would weigh no more than one tonne.
