| The much anticipated Mazda 6 has arrived on our shores! Mazda Motors organized a soft launch on Wednesday, 30th January. Amidst the customary welcome speeches and a burst of confetti by Mr. Phng, Managing Director of Mazda Motors Singapore and sales manager Mr. Philip Lu, the basic, luxury and sports models were presented to the crowd. Two body styles will be available: sedan and five-door hatchback with a choice between a 2.0-litre gasoline carried over from the previous Mazda6, with the highlight of the evening being the new MZR 2.5 four pot. The new engine is a development on previous 2.3-litre, and will be equipped with a five-speed 'Activematic' auto. The fresh, new, sleek curves and racy interior of the Mazda 6 won the attention of many, and the crowd couldn't the interior of vehicle, especially the newly designed steering wheel optimized for both height and reach. Prices start from the basic 2.0 V-Grade Sedan, $88,488 to the top end 2.5 R Sedan worth about $100,488. |
