Sales for Porsche rose by 15 percent to 162,145 units in 2013

By delivering 162,145 vehicles in 2013, deliveries for German premium sports brand, Porsche, were 15 percent higher than figures from the previous year.
Revenue climbed by three percent to €14.3 billion (S$25.18 billion), while operating profit rose by six percent to €2.58 billion (S$4.54 billion). The number of employees also increased by 11 percent to 19,456 staff - its highest headcount ever.
Last fiscal year, Porsche unveiled a number of new vehicles including the Panamera S E-Hybrid - the first marque to present a plug-in hybrid vehicle in the luxury class. Porsche also launched the first super sports car with high-performance plug-in hybrid drive, the 918 Spyder, in addition to the first sports car in the compact SUV segment, the Macan.
And in what can be said as a good start, worldwide deliveries have increased by three percent to 23,286 vehicles - in just the first two months of 2014 alone.
