Syukri is back for the third round of the Sepang Drag Battle series
Unable to participate in round two from a blown engine in free practice, he will be aiming for top honours in the third installation

A good opportunity gone to waste, considering Syukri managed to get fourth in class A and third in class B with his heavily modified pink Proton Satria before his engine gave way.

"I'm coming back this round and hopefully not only to get to finish the race but maybe finish in the top two in both classes," said Syukri. He added that the mechanical problem with his car have been identified and rectified, hopefully it will not haunt him at the race.

The Sepang Drag Battle is an exciting event where two cars will go and race each other in a straight line for 400meters with the first car that crosses the finish line first wins the race.

There are seven categories from the open class or A class which is open to all modifications to the standard Campro class or class G. The race will start around 9pm but motorsports fans are advised to get here early.

Flagging off on Saturday 18 July, don't miss this action packed event this weekend. Tickets are sold at RM50(S$20.30) for Pit area while the grandstand seats are going at RM10(S$4.05).

Parking is RM5(S$2.05) for cars and RM2(S$0.80) for bikes.
