POST AN ADVERTISEMENT - AD WRITING TIPS
Know your competition. Before writing your ad, it always helps to read other similar ads currently running in the website or newspapers.
Be Clear. Wherever possible, try not to use abbreviations - not everyone knows what they mean.
Be specific. Vague terms like "full accessories" should be emphasized on to include what specifically are the accessories. eg racing pedals, mp3 players, sports rims, leather seats?The more specific you are in your ad, the better your response will be.
Eye-catchers catch eyes. Take advantage of an eye-catcher photograph of your car to make your ad stand out.
Keywords. Type in those keywords in the "Description" field so that they will appear in the front interface under the "Used Car Listings" category. (For example, 1 careful owner, tip-top condition, accident-free) Choose those words that will capture the attention of potential buyers.
Contact No. Other than your contact number, try to display your email address for additional contact information. If you have 2 contact numbers, add in the other number in the description so that buyers can still get to you when 1 line is busy. Staying contactable is very important when you are selling anything.
Ad Content. Make sure you fill up as much information on your car as possible. This will attract more buyers. People will not be interested in viewing ads that carry too little information, as it would be troublesome to call up to ask for details. Most will only call up if they have interest in you car. You got to provide more information to generate the interest.
Price. All ads should contain a definitive price so that potential buyers have some price information for negotiation. That way, you get more response! If your price is high, explain why it's a good value. If it is low, make it believable using phrases like "owner migrating, urgently selling".
