Prior to using this Liqui Moly DOT 5.1, there was a slower response, rough feeling upon braking, and worse when hard and emergency braking. It was quite dangerous, I'd say, and upon recommendation of this fully-synthetic brake fluid by my mechanic, I felt much more confident, much safer while driving. I noticed smoother and more responsive braking while on the road. Brilliant!
