I didn't get to enjoy these speakers the way they were intended to be enjoyed, but I can say this, when I saw these speakers and all they came with I was sure I was getting the best. They made a world of difference! I did not expect such a different but it sounds 100% clearer and better! These are smooth sounding and easy on the ears, compared to the metal tweeters I was using before. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that want to save a couple of hundred dollars, and get good speakers in the process.
What I like
These are smooth sounding and easy on the ears.
What I do not like
It doesn't really have an install guide book.

Review
I had always wanted a more crisp sound and component speakers in front were the only way to go. The TS-A1702C were priced really well. Installation was simple with the instructions printed right on the box. The wiring is configured so that you can not plug anything in wrong. Also, there is plenty of factory wiring installed on the component "brain box" to mount your cone & tweeter anywhere on the door panel you need to. The quality of the sound is very good. I am running a basic head unit with iPod interface through my dual-channel amplifier. The speakers are rated properly for my set up and they 'bump' just fine. This is not a hi-end stereo but easily blasts past any factory set-up. I recommend these speakers for a mid-level system that is not pounding too many mega-watts. Also they do come with a 1 yr warranty.
What I like
Installation was fairly simple, and the sound quality is great. Nothing much that I can ask for from these reasonably priced speakers.
What I do not like
Does not give an all-fabulous sound that hardcore audiophiles will look for.
The mids are just good, but the highs are the stars of this show | Posted on 05 Jul 2013 |

The midbass is just good, not much difference from a lot of other speakers out there. With that said, it's crystal clear no matter how loud these are turned up. However, the main attraction definitely has to be the tweeters. They reproduce amazingly clear and moderately sharp highs, and no matter how loud I turn it up to, they never get piercing. Listening to ballads by the likes of Leona Lewis and Mariah Carey is now bloody amazing thanks to the superb tweeters, and they have no problem hadling my trance songs too.
What I like
The amazing highs of the tweeter and how clear the sound is from this speaker set
What I do not like
Midbass has no difference from other speakers in this price range
Very clear, but isn't very loud/powerful | Posted on 17 Jun 2013 |

The stock speakers in my C350 weren't very good so I replaced them with this one. These Pioneer speakers are super clear with tight bass and good highs. However, I don't find them to be very powerful as they cannot go very loud. However, the audio is crystal clear and the bass is good enough.

The bass and mids on these speakers are good, but the best thing about them is the highs. Best high notes I have heard from a car speaker set so far. It is so good it can even handle songs by Mariah Carey. Also the quality is solid and has a lot of power.
What I like
very clear sound and excellent highs

Review
My old speakers were dying and I got these speakers which sounded so great in my Toyota Camry. Read a lot of reviews online before purchasing, and it was a good buy, definitely, at a reasonably affordable price. For those who can appreciate a full range of sound in their music, I would HIGHLY recommend these. NO REGRETS!!
What I like
The sound is good at an average volume. With my existing 7 band EQ, tuning of my preferred songs was at ease. Enjoying the songs was heavenly.
What I do not like
There were times when noises from the road drowns the music. Naturally, I will increase the volume, but these only created distortion in the speakers.
