Was introduced to this tyre and kept to it for many tyre changes for my previous ride.

Good grip in wet weather. Reliable braking. Only thing is it's pretty noisy.

It exceeded my expectations. Don't think all value-for-money tyres are lousy. This one is worthy of any ride, provided you can tolerate the noise.

What I like
Good Grip in wet weather

What I do not like
Noisy

Used these tyres for 4 years.
Size was 185/55/15, decent treadwear for 70 highway /30 city driving pattern

What I like
Grippy tyres
Value for money

What I do not like
Has been superseded by PS31.
Country of origin for the size closest to my current setup is Vietnam, if country of origin matters to you.
However, at $70/pc (for PS31, inclusive of GST, install & balancing front 2 tyres), you can't complain!

Done 30,000km.

While the grip is excellent, the noise level is unacceptably high, to the extent that it masked the sound emitted by my car's faulty front wheel bearings.

When I detected the noise, and sent it to the workshop, the wheel bearing was at an extended state of wear.

Tyre also wears out very fast even with sedated driving.

Good for those on a budget but want a performance tyre, but at the expense of noise.

What I like
- Excellent grip for a budget tyre, even at 150km/h.

What I do not like
- VERY noisy - noisier than my car engine
- High wear rate

Was quite skeptical about Kumho brand tires thus I usually went for brand names in the past. Decided to try Kumho KU31 after reading quite a few reviews for a cheap and good tire for my 9 year old car. Turns out that I am impressed enough to write a review about it.

These tires have good grip on the road (wet and dry), I would compare it to almost a PS3 kind of grip. For the price, I can definitely say that this is worth it.

The comfort level is nice, but it comes at a cost of having to take the bends more docilely as the sidewalls are very soft (that's my opinion).

Traveled on expressways at 90km/h with very low road noise when new. I can genuinely say that I am surprised.

What I like
Price
Grip
Comfort
Low road noise when new

What I do not like
Soft sidewalls

Bought this tyre 2 yrs ago at Soh Tyre at $75. Use it for around 50K (with around 20% Left). The performance is accepatble for both wet and dry but at such ridiculars price, I would say its a steal.

There were many other tyres provide a better performance but non were offered at such low price. If you have budget constraint, get this tyre and you will not regret.

What I like
Price, its CHEAP!

What I do not like
Noise level after 20K could be annoying.

Installed it on my Civic when I got my ride a new set of wheels. First saw my bro in law install it on his Toyota Wish and that's when I got introduced to it. Was initially skeptical as I hvnt heard of this model before. After reading some reviews, decided to try it out. Performance is really good in dry and wet and I feel safe particularly during wet. It cuts thru water puddles cleanly and I don't experience any hydroplane. Notwithstanding the above, the sound is really a killer. That said, it's still considered value for money on the overall.

What I like
- grip
- price
- safety

What I do not like
- noisy
- burns off faster than I thot

Had install at Arrow, the guy has done a good job and even explain to me when they do alignment. They even drive and test out before hand over to me. I had test out the tyre, its quiet and grip are good for both dry and wet. drive over the hump and notice its can absorb well. Good tyre for this price range.

What I like
Design, price and performance.

What I do not like
nothing

Done 1500km+ on 3 tanks pf petrol. Was on Michelin Pilot Sports 3 before switch to this tyre.

- Good grip
- High rolling resiistence - car does not row so freely when free gear to a stop at traffic lights.
- Slight increase in fuel consumption
- 1 ply polyester on sidewall. Soft sidewallAffects cornering resulting in lots of body roll
- Noisier than my used Michelin PS3

If you are on a budget and don't mind a slight compromise in performance and comfort, this tyre should fit your needs.

But if you don't mind paying a little more for a branded performance tyre, go for it. The savings in fuel consumption will make up for the difference in price.

What I like
- Good grip
- One of the cheapest Ultra High Performance tyres in the market

What I do not like
- High rolling resistence
- Slight increase in fuel consumption
- Only 1 ply polyester on sidewall. Soft sidewall.
- High bodyroll when cornering
- Noisy even when new

Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 is a great tyre in the dry and pretty good in the wet. It is definitely suitable for the weather in Singapore. Like all 35 profile tyres they are a little noisy but that's the price you pay for the grip. Very good level of grip that is consistent and reliable. I find it very comfortable and was very satisfied with the durability and performance. I own these tyres for 9 months now and will buy it again!

What I like
Very good level of grip that is consistent and reliable.

What I do not like
It's a little noisy.

Tried this tyre since year 2011 despite been skeptical of its brand & Vietnamese origin. No regrets & bought twice! Very good tyre in terms of value, durability, noise, wet grip. What else more can you ask for? This tyre will put a lot of so-call Japanese tyre to shame! I have been a Yokohama & Bridgestone fan for past ten years, but greatly disappointed by some of their offerings now (esp. Earth 1, grips like the old Aspec Db...new name but still slippery when...)

What I like
Value for $ & all round well-balanced performer.

What I do not like
None

Fitted a set of 4 of these Kumho Ecsta HM KH31, replacing the old, leaky and worn tyres. Of course the car was transformed but like all Kumho tyres, they are very well balanced. They roll smoothly and quietly, appropriate for my ride! Being very heavy and soft, the handling of the car isn't brilliant anyway, but these stick to the road and provides very confident drives, it wont easily overcome the tyres in normal or even spirited driving. Off the line traction is great with no wheelspin. At high speeds there is no vibration and no tramlining, which these cars are prone too. I like Kumho tyres and these are no exception, also great value in this expensive size, highly recommended. They are also very resistant to aquaplaning and looks fabulous too. Another plus point is the sidewalls look great with tyre shine on!

What I like
Grips very well on dry and wet tarmac, along with excellent performance round corners and ultimate traction off the line.

What I do not like
They don't last all that long, since the performance is great, these tyres wear quite easily.

At $125/piece (215/45/17), how can one complain?
Some say tyre wear is fast, I pump 250/235 and weekly checks with the air pressure.
Wheel Rotation at 8354, 16480, 23343, 30037, 42404, 47032 before I traded in for a new set of rims & tires.

Lasted me 30,000km ~ 48,000km on a aggressive driver on a Alfa Romeo.
The differences with 18k km, due to the aggressive alignment and nature of ARs, the front tyre inner wear is extremely fast. Barely consider to be legal on the road so I have to rotate it to the rear which they cost lesser wear to "extend" the life span.
Even with balding tires, it is consider gripply and its progessive.

Wet Handling; can't complain during the first 30,000km.
But I have to drive within my own limits after its balding and if skid/crash, it would be the driver's own fault.

What I like
Value for money, grip, noise & comfort.

Personally, I love my new Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31. I had a set before but the new ones obviously have a different carcass than the old ones. One of the things I like about them is that even though ultimate grip may be sacrificed a bit, the breakaway is so progressive that it's easy to tease the limit. My car is properly lowered using good stuff and carefully researched alignment specifications. I drive very aggressively and keep my rear sway bar in the full stiff setting so I hang the tail out a lot. The previous set lasted three seasons of brutality.

What I like
I am loving everything it does, performing so well on the track.

What I do not like
When used as an everyday driving tyres, they will wear out quite quickly.
