Been using this for past year and this is a invaluable tool in my garage. This detailer actually lasts longer than some full waxes I have used in the past. Water still beads after a weeks work driving in dirty rainwater. Thanks to this I wax once with a good sealant and use this detailer as a drying aid for my weekly washes and i do not need to wax again for a year!

What I like
Big bottle, quality sprayer and the beading just lasts beyond any was i have ever seen. Also contains some cleaning ability to really refresh the shine of the car.

What I do not like
Finish is kind of grabby, not slick like most detailers. Does not hide swirls well.

The detailer is more viscous than I thought it would be, however it is a considerably good investment. It provides a reflective finish and improves the shine of my paintwork. The beading effect is very impressive, it repels dirt from splashes. The solution smells pleaseant, and I would say the coating is pretty durable. I would stick to Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer even though the price is slightly steeper than its competitors'.

Received this in the goodie bag given out during MCF and Stamford Tyres Event on 25 May 2014. My car is basically as dirty as one can imagine, after seeing the demo session on how to use the product. I immediately went off to a Shell Station for car wash. Drive to a multi storey carpark to apply. I was very surprised at how easy the application job is as compared to normal waxing and polishing.

Finger crossed on its capability and the very next day, while driving on the expressway, I was caught in a heavy downpour and was fun to see water skidding off my bonnet. My original skepticism was gone as an easy to apply on product can be this effective in water beading.

Definitely getting another one after this current foc bottle finished.

Received this as part of the mcf outing. Unfortunately I had to rush off for lunch appointment, if not would have purchased more Sonax products at a good price.

Sorry got distracted. Anyways after the lunch, rushed back home to wash car and try the Brilliant Shine Detailer. Did my normal wash...and sprayed on the detailer and wiped off as instructed on the bottle with easy to understand instructions.

The shine is amazing, I have not seen my car shine in an underground carpark with dim lighting for a long time, and my car is more than 5 yrs old, so it's amazing. Not sure how long the shine will last but hope it's more than a month.

According to the bottle, the spray will work slightly dirty cars as well, so no need to deliberately wash the car.

To sum up, easy to spray, wipe off and the car will shine.

What I like
Easy to use, easy to read instruction on bottle itself.

What I do not like
Hand coated with the substance as I was holding the cloth with no gloves.

This is my best biggest discoveries since I begun my adventure with detailing. This QD is quite thick as compared to other offerings on market. It has really pleasant coconut scent. It is very easy to use as it is just like other QD's on market. You just need to spray, spread, turn MF on other side, wipe and it's done! I found it to lack the slippery feel. However, after washing, you will release the water behaviour. It holding up, but certainly beading is far from good. The gloss and ease of use is also very good! Really find them brilliant! Incredible beading I've ever see!

This apparent new product had been making waves in the BMW forums, was tempted to try and it exceeded my expectations! Unlike other quick detailers, the shine and water beading is unlike any other I have ever used! I only have to use this once every 2 months after a car-wash and the car looks spanking new, without having to wax. The spray and wipe application saves a whole lot of time where waxing would easily take half a day. A definite hidden gem!

What I like
Easier to apply than waxes, gives a gloss and water-beading that normal conventional waxes cannot show for, and lasts longer than waxes. Wins in terms of ease of application, durability and results.

What I do not like
Doesn't have the smooth silky feeling that waxes provide when you run your hands through, but as long as the shine and water-beading is retained and afterall, the silkiness from waxes merely last a few rains/car-washes.
