All new Skoka Fabia Combi to grace the Paris Motor Show

Skoda will hold the world premiere of the Skoda Fabia and Fabia Combi - Skoda speak for stationwagon - at the rapidly approaching Paris Motor Show before commercial launch in Europe from January 2015. Compact on the outside, the new Fabia Combi offers lots of space for up to five people and their luggage.

The new Skoda Fabia Combi is 10mm longer, 90mm wider and 31mm lower than its predecessor yet despite the lower height, there is adequate headroom for the front occupants.

The front is identical to the hatchback model with distinctive elements such as the razor-sharp, wide headlights, the crystalline glass cut, the characteristic slatted grille and the brand's logo on the bonnet's 'nose'.

The cabin impresses too with high-quality, precise workmanship, an emphasis on horizontal lines and a wide array of colours and colour combinations.

The new Skoda Fabia Combi is available with an adjustable false boot floor as an optional extra. This is a removable shelf which divides the boot into two horizontal compartments, allowing storage on two levels. For easy loading and unloading, the shelf can also be locked at an angle.

The new Fabia Combi offers fuel consumption reduced by up to 17 percent compared to the second-generation model. Fuel consumption is now 3.1L/100 km and CO₂ emissions are just 82g/km in the Skoda Fabia Combi GreenLine (available in 2015). These improvements are the result of a completely new generation of petrol and diesel engines, weight reduction and improved aerodynamics.

Customers can choose from a total of three petrol and three diesel engines - equipped with a Start-Stop System and brake energy recovery. Power output in the petrol engines ranges from 73bhp to 108bhp. The new three-cylinder diesel range offers between 73bhp and 103bhp - linked to either manual or automatic DSG gearboxes.
