Aston Martin's new concept teases new DBS

Aston Martin creates some of the best looking and instantly recognisable cars in the world. Then again you can’t deny, that they all look the same. At the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, a glamorous auto show on the shores of Italy's Lake Como, Aston presented the AM 310, a concept that hints at the next DBS, expected to make its debut later this year. A similar car was seen testing on the Nurburgring, a couple of days ago.
Based on the same VH architecture that underpins the company's entire line-up, the AM 310 packs a revised 6.0-litre V12 that was first developed for the DB7. Like Porsche and its 911, the styling is more evolved than a redesign. Inspiration seems to have come from the One-77, with sharper fenders, chrome highlights on the windows, and stretched 'C' shaped tail lamps.
