Audi A6 and A7 both get a new grille and new exterior colours

Audi has facelifted its A6 and A7 models.

The cars are being offered in Europe with a host of exterior design packages. The 'basic' trim of the new range sees the A6 and S7 now with a redesigned honeycomb structure front grille, finished in Matte Black with a chrome frame.

The Audi A6 is additionally being offered with an 'advanced line' trim, which will finish the car with a Dark Chrome radiator grille and add a Selenite Silver blade into its rear diffuser.

Customers that opt for their cars in the 'S line' trim will get chrome inserts in the grilles of their cars. The diffuser blade of the A6 here is painted Platinum Grey, while the on the A7 it is finished in Chrome.

A host of new rim designs with finishes including Graphite Grey, Platinum Grey and Black Metallic are now offered for the cars, said to reflect increasing customer demand for dark designs.

Both the Audi S6 and S7 have also been updated, with both models receiving their Singleframe grille complete with aluminum-style inlays and accentuated side air intakes in the front. On the Audi S6 these come in Matte Black, while the Audi S7 has them in Matte Dark Chrome.

The cars can also now be had with a total of 12 exterior colours, with Arcona White and Madeira Brown Metallic being new colour options. Grenadine Red Metallic and Ascari Blue Metallic are also now available for the S models and the 'S line' cars.

Both the A6 and A7 will now get the 12.3-inch screen fully-digital instrument panel, while full LED head lights with a contoured daytime running light signature are now standard on the Audi A6 and S6.
